Global Village Ooty

We stayed in Royal Dutch cottages this cottage is very nice for couples ,family. We also stayed in Romantic room cottages these is best for couples, and you have staircase inside the room , with balcony. Coming to breakfast was really good and you can feel like home made food, Mr Adarsh from kitchen department treated us in a very good manner .

Expectation leads to failure but the place gave more happiness than expected. I used to visit Ooty often and the experience I got was very good. But now the crowd of people coming to Ooty and the traffic jam is just too much. But now visiting Global City Village was a great experience. A place where there was not much crowd, where there was not much traffic, everywhere you looked, only rain and snow could be seen. Apart from that, each of the plots there gave a different kind of experience. Also the attentiveness of the staff and the politeness with which the food was served was excellent.

We recently stayed at Global Village Resort with our office team of 31 members for three nights, and we had a pleasant experience overall. Rooms and Scenic Beauty: The rooms were comfortable, clean, and offered stunning scenic views from each one. The resort’s different cottage options, catering to couples, bachelors, and families, are well thought out. We particularly enjoyed the Romantic Rome and Dutch Durbar rooms, which maintained a charming old-style decor and featured a private garden—a great spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. Food and Dining: The breakfast was delicious but lacked punctuality, with delays of around 30 minutes on some days, which could be improved. Lunch was had outside, but the dinner experience was average. The menu included only one chicken item, which we found below average in both taste and quantity. Despite our request for an egg dish in either breakfast or dinner, it was not accommodated. Overall, I would rate the food 6/10. Accessibility: For those traveling in larger vehicles, such as buses, it’s worth noting that parking is on the main road, requiring a walk of 100–200 meters to the resort. This could be inconvenient for some guests. Overall Ratings: Food: 6/10 Rooms, Cleanliness, and Scenic Views: 8/10 In summary, Global Village Resort offers a comfortable stay with great rooms and breathtaking views, making it ideal for group outings. However, improvements in food quality and punctuality would significantly enhance the experience

Everything is good, Room neatness and service is excellent. Staffs are very friendly and very helpful. Awesome location and lovely mountain view from balcony. All other places in ooty and Connor became commercial but this place is excellent for a holiday

It's a nice place with good and tasty food. The stay at norway castle was good it's neat and clean. Staff's are polite and provided good accommodation.

Had a pleasant stay this property is located 13km from ooty. Good 1. Value for the money. Housekeeping is prompt, and the room is kept clean. 2. Have decent car parking space for 8 cars maximum. 3. Location provides scenic views. Disadvantages 1. There are no good restaurants in the vicinity. So you are left at the mercy of restort kitchen. Food served is of average quality and exorbitantly priced. A simple south indian meal (rice, sambar, subji, rasam, youghurt) costs rs. 225.
