An excellent hotel, very well situated for visiting the beautiful Chateau of Azay-le-Rideau. Lovely rooms, first class service with best English spoken. Secure parking garage bookable on request. Town centre position is great, too. Close to good restaurants and bars. Breakfast is plentiful and of super quality. Highly recommend this hotel...this was a return visit for us.

We arrived in pouring rain after a long drive and immediately felt welcomed and relaxed. Bruno and his team were lovely; providing umbrellas, recommendations and reservations and a great breakfast from a lovely little hotel in a great location. Thank you !

This is the best place to stay. My family and I will only stay in this hotel. The owners are wonderful. Also, you must try the Restaurant Les Grottes it is simply delicious.

Very nice stay in hotel Biencourt, l'accueil est très chaleureux et avec un grand sens du service, les chambres confortables et l'emplacement à 2 pas du château! Le petit déjeuner est très bon avec des produits frais et locaux.

The hotel is delightful - the owners very welcoming - the rooms very pretty and the car parking very secure. It is in a perfect spot in the centre of the very attractive Azay-le Rideau with lots of good restaurants within a short walking distance.

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a cycling tour. This was by far the best hotel. The location is perfect for the two nearby chateaux. Do not miss Chateau Islette which is out of town. Peaceful ambience, tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. The hotel closes between 2 - 3pm. Thomas the manager speaks impeccable English and is so kind and helpful.

Great hotel situated on the sight of a former school and is split between two buildings with a courtyard between, where one can have a drink and relax. The staff were very friendly and really helpful with nothing seeming to be too much trouble. Breakfast offered a varied choice with plenty of options.

There are so many excellent reviews on here that I don’t need to repeat all the previous comments other than to say that Thomas and Léa are the most welcoming and considerate hosts and that the Hotel is a perfect example of the classic 3 star family run hotel. We stayed for 2 weeks as a base for exploring the Loire and I would highly recommend this hotel for a visit if only for one night.

A small cosy hotel, with an interesting character and history, and a very welcoming and helpful staff. Location is excellent, surrounded by plenty food options and the Chateau entrance is a short walk away. Had a good breakfast which can be enjoyed inside or outside in the courtyard. Rooms a good size and standard. Stayed two memorable nights, not consecutively.
