First time to visit Avila from Madrid! Hotel in walking distance, and very close to Avila train station

Very nice small hotel well located and close to the old town city center just walking around 800 meters.

之所以選這家酒店是因為它離古城不遠，大概一公里，走着可以到達，而且酒店有個收費小停車場。酒店服務人員很友好，熱情的給我們指點遊覽路線。吃早餐的時候，我把衣服落在餐廳了，餐廳服務員幫我送了上來。只是這個酒店太老舊了，設施之陳舊實在達不到四星的標準。一進房間，一股味道，類似於羶味，房間燈帶只有四分之一亮，剛開的時候，不亮的部分一閃一閃的，衞生間洗手枱石材是斷裂的，石材地面坑窪不平。房間很小，空的地方箱子都打不開。衣櫃裏只有三個不一樣的塑料衣架，像是住客留下的。自助早餐很一般，餐廳座椅上污漬斑斑。

很安靜很乾凈的酒店，離火車站和古城都很近，前台服務員很熱情，我們拖着行李一到就能準確猜出客人是誰，這都是很用心的服務了

위치 좋고 친절 합니다. 그리고 지하철역하고 가깝습니다. Communication and check-in went well and the accommodation was as described. The location is good, you can walk everywhere.

My wife and I stayed at the Exe Reina Isabel for 4 nights last week, as part of a 5-city tour of north-western Spain. The staff were pleasant, courteous and efficient on all occasions. However, we experienced a number of problems with the hotel room itself. Air conditioning was centrally locked to 'heat' automatically, and we began to boil with some rapidity. Alas, the window was also locked, and so a member of staff had to be called to open it. The shower system in the bathroom was somewhat dated,, and the lever/knob which operated it fell off when we tried to use it. A member of staff had to be called to help us (who arrived very promptly). The room plug socket - useful for charging phones etc - also failed to work, so phones were charged in a bathroom socket. The room window, when opened, also provided a less than edifying view made up of backyards and refuse bins. On the positive side, all the breakfasts provided were of very reasonable quality. Choices were quite varied, and the staff were efficient and attentive. There were, probably not enough staff in attendance, however. On the Saturday, staff were seemingly overrun by a large number of visitors, who all descended for breakfasts at the same time, and demolished available food supplies within a few minutes - replenishments and cleaned, empty tables were consequently in short supply. Elsewhere, the attached hotel cafe and bar proved to be good, offering good quality snacks and drinks at a reasonable price. All in all, a mixed stay.

Clean, spacious room with balcony. Good bathroom (cheap, plastic showerhead did rather stand out, however!). Free water. Helpful staff. Discount for members of their loyalty scheme. Very good, full breakfast buffet (cheaper if room booked B&B). Bottle of cava delivered to room for a bargain price. Perfectly located near train station, and with local buses stopping outside.

Please pay attention to my written comments more than my rating. We spent 3 nights at this hotel in February, 2024. I've stayed in some Exe properties before and found them to usually be slightly below their parent namesake Eurostars. But this hotel was close to the train station and I was planning an early day trip to El Escorial on the train so that helped tip the scales for me. The hotel is nice. It's just not very close to anything beside the train. Including restaurants. We always ate dinner either inside or just outside the walls of the old town. The walk wasn't too much of a distance for us (we usually walk 8-10 miles per day in Spain) but would probably be too far for a lot of people. Plus it was raining for part of our time so the walk wasn't nearly as comfortable as it might otherwise be. So bottom line... Hotel--nice. Location--not as nice (except for train).

The hotel was very impressive starting with the staff on reception and breakfast and in the connected cafeteria/bar. The location is perfect for those walking from the Avila train station. Yet it is only a 10 minute walk from the walls of Avila The rooms were cleaned well. There is a good safe which works after reading the instructions carefully. A replacement needs to be slightly larger as my laptop computer only just fits inside. An iron and ironing board in the room would have been good. But I am sure it would have been made available.

We are in room 510, Double Room with Terrace. We booked this room so we could have the doors open for fresh air at night. This room may be on the 5th floor but next door is the hotels aircon units. The fan is very noisey, turns on and off every few minutes, sounds like a car engin. Do not take any notice of their description, you will not get any sleep. The room is very hot, 25°C . We turned the aircon on only to find out the hotel has now changed it to heat only. Room heating was up to 26.5°C before we found out. Had to have the patio doors open all night. There are no restaurants in or near the hotel. The hotel has a cafe but that closes after lunch and reopens at 7pm. Rooms do not have kettle to make a drink Have to go to the tourist old town to eat expensive mediocre food. Positive. Room size good, bed comfortable if only you could sleep, bathroom shower/bath good, breakfast good, hotel clean. Parking tight but ok. Wouldn't stay again.

While the hotel is not the most modern and its not situated in the hub of the city inside the walls, its staff more than compensate. All the staff I met were very helpful and that included the restaurant and front of house. Despite some language challenges, they always helped to meet any needs I had. The rooms with the terrace are very nice in the evenings and I would certainly recommend these. It has a car park that has ample (but tight) parking. The hotel is also perfectly. Situated well for access to routes for walks etc, it is only 10 minutes walk to the walled old town.

El Hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, escasos, ocho minutos de la muralla, por la zona es fácil aparcar aunque hay línea azul y está cerca de la estación de autobuses El personal de recepción, muy amable, la habitación bastante bastante calurosa y eso que tenía la climatización apagada, tuvimos que abrir la ventana durante toda la estancia, porque hacía mucha calor, la cama te movías y era bastante ruidosa, por el resto muy bien tenía pequeños detalles como Gominolas, agua, chocolatinas y el baño bastante bien Recomendado para pasar una estancia leve u ver la ciudad

Pedimos una habitación tranquila para descansar en la reserva a través de su web. Se supone que las habitaciones están insonorizadas al exterior pero en la que nos tocó se oía bastante el tráfico. Además, se oía mucho a la gente del resto de habitaciones con lo que apenas pudimos descansar. Las camas tampoco fueron especialmente cómodas, cosa que no ha ocurrido en otros hoteles de esta cadena que hemos visitado. Lo mejor, el desayuno. Muy completo y el personal correcto, sobre todo el de desayunos.
