Hotel dekat Wairangi Wharf Reserve, Auckland

The experience was mostly good... staff were quite helpful except for 1 thing.... (see below); place was well located, clean.. ambient temperature was good even though there was only 1 a/c unit.. maybe be different in high summer.. encountered 2 issues:- 1) The door to balance is left opened.... hotel would not provide a key to lock it... as no key is given out... the lock may be incorporated in the door handle when lifted.. appeared this particular door may not be installed properly.. 2) Very strange - The receptionist refused to reserved a parking space for me for some reason... (under 3 separately occassion, day after check-in, day before needing to use and the actual morning of the day of use).. and when i drove the rental car to the hotel.. it was full as apparently; i did not book....

The location is really convenient, the hardware facilities are passable in New Zealand, but the service is really indescribable ... the coffee machine has a problem. From the morning to the evening, 4 or 5 phones are not counted, and the people who clean the hotel and the front desk repeatedly. Communicate. Every time the answer is given, send someone immediately. Finally at ten thirty in the evening finally came to check. The other room was not cleaned, it is estimated to be off work and very speechless

The overall design of the room is good, it is modern style, breakfast can be ordered or self-service, their breakfast buffet is average compared to the single order dishes. If you really want to find faults, the hardware facilities are average, the Internet speed is poor and there are lags when watching movies and TV series, and there is a WC right at the door. If you care, you'd better consider it. Facilities: The overall facilities are well designed. One of the two bathrooms has a bathtub. If you want to talk about facilities, the bathroom is right at the door. Hygiene: The overall hygiene is really good, it looks quite clean. Environment: The overall modern style, there is a cabinet for self-selection of tea and coffee, the coffee and tea are average, and the beverages and mineral water are free of charge except for two bottles. And the exterior view can see the Sky Tower, and the harbor is next to the restaurant on the first floor. Service: The restaurant and room service are really good, and the software is better than many domestic hotels.

We were really looking forward to our stay at this hotel, which is new, has a very central location, is very clean, and has a very-well equipped gym. These features were greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, we encountered a few issues that affected our experience. Despite booking for three guests, our room was only prepared for two, and even after requesting additional amenities, they were not fully provided. The in-room phone was also not working, making it difficult to communicate with the front desk. Housekeeping seemed inconsistent—our room was not thoroughly cleaned after the first night, with some items left out of place and the trash not emptied. Additionally, when ordering a breakfast box for an early checkout, we were surprised by the lack of flexibility in food choices, as we could only remove items rather than substitute them. A bit more understanding from the staff in handling such requests would have been appreciated. Lastly, we noticed that some of the buffet food tasted stale, and one of our family members felt unwell afterward. We’re not sure if this was an isolated incident, but it was a bit concerning.

Excellent choice if you are traveling with kids.  The room was very clean and well equipped.  The kids loved their own separate sleeping area which had a single bed and a bunk bed that is capable of housing up to 4 kids.  Room price included a complimentary visit to the top of the sky tower.

I like the place and by the name itself it’s already a very clean and stylish as well as first class. But, unfortunately when we came to the hotel our rooms not ready yet and we have to wait for more than an hour. We booked the hotel for a long time and we checked in late but the hotel personnel did not inform us beforehand that our rooms not yet ready which is really inconvenient. The other thing my son complained about is that there ‘s no microwave where we can heat the baby food or milk. We’ve been to other hotels before and microwave’s included in the rooms. Probably it’s our negligence too for not checking before booking the rooms. But hope in the future we expect that if we book the rooms before hand at least the staff will inform us if it’s not yet ready so we can plan ahead and not rush to check in.

This hotel was recommended by my friend who used to work here. I requested a high floor and it was granted so the room’s view of the harbor is 🤩 (12th floor Social King Room). It’s the first time that a radio was turned on as I entered the room. I even thought my next room neighbor’s music was that loud. I didn’t expect it that you can slide the door from the toilet so you can have a full view of the harbour. I liked the room very much. Thankful that I was allowed to check in early. Appreciate it a lot! I intentionally left my puffy jacket and left a note about it. Whoever owns it now, please take care of it. I’ll be back when I go back to Auckland. It’s funny that I get to write my first review for a hotel. Since this is a new hotel, there are no reviews for this hotel on any hotel platform. In addition, I have had disappointing accommodation experiences in Europe and Australia in the past. When booking a room, I can only try it with a luck mentality. Fortunately, I was very satisfied with this stay. The main entrance of the hotel is from the alley behind the church (note that it is not the door facing the road). The hotel facilities are new and clean. There is a coffee machine in the underground lobby, and bread and bottled juice are provided in the morning. The hotel staff were enthusiastic, proactive and courteous. When we checked in, they took the initiative to help us deliver our luggage to the room immediately. When we checked out, they also asked us if we needed help calling Taxi. They learned that we had arranged a Super Shuttle ourselves and took the initiative to help us communicate with the driver and provide guidance. The driver drove the car to the main entrance of the hotel (it turned out that there was another entrance to the parking space underneath the hotel). The hotel room is very clean, with enough space to open two large suitcases, and the view outside the window is very beautiful! All snacks and drinks in the room are free for guests to consume. The bathroom is very spacious and the toiletries are very fragrant and useful. However, the bathroom countertop is a bit lacking in space. We stayed here for three nights and the room was tidied the next day to our satisfaction. Overall, it was a good accommodation experience. It was a good place to rest and recharge after arriving in New Zealand after a long flight.

This hotel sits almost next to the Sky City and Sky Towers and very close to the airport bus stops but is a long walk towards the harbour. So it depends what your intention was. Other than that we didn't use any of the facilities or breakfast so there is not much to comment on their qualities. The check in was a bit of slow as the staff seemed too distracted by a chatty customer in front of us to clear the queue first.

One bedroom apartment was a definite good option. Washer in apartment was a bonus to travel light with lesser apparels. Hotel was close to transport. Night view of tower is good!
