Rooms are much too tiny...., with poor space enhancement... welcome staff are great, and very willing to help you for anything. This makes a huge difference, hotel being well located but not amazing.

Great hotel however not the most friendly staff. Breakfast just average. Very near viaduct.

整體酒店環境及居住來説都很滿意。酒店位置也不錯。離海邊走過去10來分鐘。 早餐15樓，視野很好。早餐也挺豐富，口感不錯，套餐中選擇點餐。樓頂16樓是天空酒吧，人很多，美女如雲。酒店周邊也有各類成人*酒吧。購物不遠，各大奢侈品彙聚周邊。

裝修有點誇張的喜劇風格，還算喜歡，附近商圈溜達方便

當時選擇了有city view的房間，因此被安排在了出了電梯口的第一間。電梯口出入的聲音以及外面走廊人説話的聲音非常清晰，很吵。其次，由於房間地理位置是面朝在2條街的交叉口，加上晚上酒吧high翻天的熱鬧，在房間裏聽的一清二楚。有很大部份原因應該是酒店的窗户玻璃用的是極差的，其次是整體隔音也做的極差。因此，那一晚整整到了凌晨5點多才強行入睡，整個人疲憊不堪，心臟跳動跟外面的音樂一起。第二天醒來後，非常非常憤怒，給前台打電話要求更換安靜的房間。酒店的前台服務態度很好，表示很理解，也快速更換了更高樓層的，靠安靜街道的房間。但是房間就沒有任何景色可言，窗户外望出去就是齊刷刷的破樓。其次，走道上的聲音還是聽得一清二楚。 還好衹是住2個晚上，真的每次一想起來這個入住體驗，真的太奔潰。

Fantastic, friendly service from all the staff. Room very clean and bed so comfortable. Only one negative no power points near the bathroom or mirror. HiSo Bar is great and breakfast had a fabulous selection with more fruit etc in offer this time which was nice to see, definitely something for everyone here with awesome views. Looking forward to our next visit.

Luxury. Everything was great. Staff were helpful, happy and friendly. Service was awesome. Rooms were super comfortable and well equipped. I could have stayed longer. Views from the restaurant are the best. Location is fantastic. Local Cafés and eateries all great alternatives.

I attended the Fluidity: Art & Wine Pairing evening at the gallery and had the most unexpected and amazing sensory experience. Not only were the art and wine thought provoking, but they made me pause for thought and consider the parallels between colours, taste and interpretation. It was intriguing to hear the stories behind their connections. Rachel Rush's artwork was so dynamic and fascinating and so complemented by the Alpha Domus wine. I would also like to compliment Eva, Joanne & Roy (and their teans) for the flawless delivery of such a memorable experience.

Friendly, quirky and memorable. I’d rate The So/ Auckland as up there with my favourite city hotels. Firstly the staff are superb. Both friendly and attentive. They know their stuff and get you sorted quickly. On arrival I was warmly greeted and an upgrade was offered which is always brilliant. I was shown to the lift and the room was fantastic. Club access was also great; a really memorable member of staff worked there over both days and the food (canapés) was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed reading some of the books on offer too. When I called for service from room, my call was answered within three rings on three separate occasions. The So/Fit area in basement was very pleasant though I thought would have been much better in a floor with a view. The restaurant and cocktail floor were great too. Superb food at breakfast and for a dinner. Cocktails: I only tried a whisky sour as, erm, enjoyed caretaker over the road a bit too much before arriving there. It was very good. So overall, I’d say the hotel does all the important stuff very well but gets the little things So/ very right too. Thanks to the team; I’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay at SO/Auckland this May. It was the 2nd time we stayed there, and we really enjoyed it What makes the difference between other top-level hotels like this is the staff, who were just fantastic. Whoever you talk to, they’re helpfull, efficent, and very kind. Special thanks to Yanis, Tristan, and Julie the front office manager who were just amazing. We hope to see you again next time !

Had an amazing weekend with my daughters, the service was amazing, the location was great. Staff very attentive,

didn’t stay this time, only went to the restaurant. Went back again the first experience was so awesome! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful even thought I wasn’t staying there and directed me easily to the restaurant. Service was impeccable without being pretentious, you were looked after so well without any fawning or hovering, prices were fair for the quality of food and creativity. So enjoyed the food! View was amazing. Cannot praise this restaurant enough!

A great up-market hotel in the central business district and very close to the harbour. Our room was large and very nicely designed. Lots of extras included such as a Nespresso coffee machine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
