Ulasan Best Western Plus Embassy Hotel

Dekorasi dan tata ruang kamar relatif tua, jauh lebih buruk dibandingkan hotel bintang empat domestik. Pelayanannya tidak antusias, bahkan dingin. Makanannya sangat monoton, sedikit variasi dan berulang-ulang setiap hari. Kebetulan gedung di seberangnya sedang diperbaiki. Setiap hari sangat bising selama pembangunan, dan ada juga kendaraan konstruksi besar yang lewat, yang agak berbahaya. Saya tidak akan memesan hotel ini jika saya tahu ada pemeliharaan di dekatnya. Lingkungannya relatif terpencil dan tidak dekat dengan stasiun kereta bawah tanah. Disebut Embassy's Best Western Hotel karena letaknya yang tidak jauh dari Kedutaan Besar AS.

酒店的部分房間在裝修改造，改造完後會更好點。未改造的房間有點老舊，滿滿的年代感。餐廳的早餐簡單但已經足夠了。

酒店設施有些老舊了，房間面積足夠大。位置不錯。周圍非常幽靜，但距離餐廳和便利店步行僅需2分鐘。前台的女孩很熱情。

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights before our Celebrity cruise. The hotel is wonderful. Very friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet. It was well stocked, clean and well maintained. Our room was very comfy, spotless clean, very modern and very quiet. The only thing to be aware of is that when I booked the room through the BW app the “final, total cost” that was indicated - both in the app and in the confirmation email I received, was not really the final cost. When I checked out, the final cost was a few Euros higher. The front desk person explained that there is an Athens government tax that must be collected but does not show up on the pricing from BW. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful old heritage looking property in the middle of Athens. Good clean and well maintained rooms which makes you feel more like a boutique hotel. We had taken a large room to accommodate 4 member family. Staffs are very friendly and cooperative. We loved the stay. Breakfast, even thought from a spread wise was not great but from a quality & taste wise was excellent.

This is definitely not a 4-Star hotel. We booked a Junior King Suite. The initial room we were given had a double bed. When I advised I had booked the king suite they said they only had one other option but it would be a little smaller. Neither room was nice and both needed serious upgrades. The shower is a small tub, with glass that only covers half, a sprayer handle and no curtain so you basically have to be very careful not to spray outside the tub and try to stay in the small corner area. Makes for a very cold shower. The room didn’t provide any views except for the building directly across the street. There is no restaurant, or snack options, onsite and very few options nearby. You can order food through a delivery app if you are able to translate what you’re ordering. Would not stay here again.

My first time in Athens in 20 years and I had a free night to stay at a Best Western, so we opted to stay here. I’d booked a king room online, but the reservation on my app said “twin beds”. I called in advance to see if we could please have the king I booked, and the man said gruffly, “Well, that is subject to availability”. Upon arrival at 10.30pm on an international flight, we were greeted at the front desk by the suuuuper lovely and amazing Christine, who said “No problem, we have a king for you … in fact there’s a free upgrade to an entire suite!” Awwww! Our room was massive: a tad rundown as others have stated, but very homely! We unfortunately struggled with the front door – the giant room key was hard to maneuver, but we eventually got it! There was so much space in the suite – and a mini bar too! The room even had a shirt / pants press! The bed was super comfy with comfy pillows. Impressive breakfast spread for a Best Western!! Everything was labelled in both Greek and English. Do note, however, it’s a teeny tiny breakfast area, so get there early to grab a seat/table! A few (very small) cons: - Light from the bathroom floods into the bedroom when it’s on — a tad annoying for those trying to sleep. - The air-con took awhile to cool the room down. - The shower was good, but leaked a bit. - The bathroom sink was slanted, so water ran straight on to the floor. - We couldn’t get the WiFi to work. Note also there’s only a teeny tiny elevator, which can only fit one person and one suitcase at a time … it only goes to Level 6, and as we were on Level 7, we then had to walk the rest of the way up the twisty staircase with our luggage. Definitely not overly disability friendly.

We stayed for two nights at the end of a cruise and had a decent stay overall. The hotel is about 40 minutes walk from Parliament Square which was a bit too far to walk in the August heat. Thankfully Uber was cheap and reliable so we got Uber's for about 6 Euros per journey. The room doesn't have complementary water but there is a small supermarket around the corner for supplies. We removed the drinks from the mini bar and used it for our own. The hotel is in a peaceful neighbourhood and there's a nice square for food and drinks in the evening nearby. Our room was large and had some impressive features but the hotel is probably in need of modernisation. The lift it very small and old fashioned, the grout around the bath was mouldy, the sink unit was strange, toilet cracked and shower head was a mixer head from the bath taps. The air conditioning was set to cold which was fine during the day, but we were cold during the night. The TV had limited channels and the WIFI didn't always work. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of sweet and savoury options. The seating area was small but there was enough room for everyone.

Location close to USA embassy but far from local attractions and restaurants. The shower bathtub was old and small elevator can only accommodate 1 person with luggage. The room was clean and the service personnel were good as they were friendly.

Positive - excellent location - airport bus stop is about 5 mins walk - Metro connection is about 10 mins walk to city center - Several restaurants, takeaway, supermarkets nearby - Excellent staff and very helpful - Bathrobes, toiletries, slippers are provided - Decent breakfast - Decent balcony Things for improvement - Very old fashioned room, requires refurbishment. - Balcony is ok, all you can see is a construction building - Very noisy in the morning due to the construction work in front building - The lifts are very tiny - The carpets look very old - I feel the hotel is pricey for the quality of the room/stay

Overall good. Clean and spacious rooms (but rooms, especially in bathroom area should be renovated). What a pity the moquette in the aisles. Very good service. Breakfast quite poor. Right if price is right.

Stayed here for two nights. Nothing to criticize. I’ll note that while the breakfast was OK, the breakfast room is a bit small and you can be very close to your neighbor’s table. If you like privacy, eat early when its not busy. The location was good for me as I am a walker, and walking from the property to Athen’s main sites was very doable for me (noting that this stay was in November). My goal for the trip was to use public transportation as much as possible. I took the Metro from the airport to the Ambelokipi station. No transfers involved. But it is a bit of a walk with luggage as the sidewalks are a bit narrow and uneven. If I did it again, I’d go to the Music Hall station, a bit more of a walk, but all of the sidewalks are wide and easily manageable.

Very nice place to stay in Athens, close to Embassy if you need to go there. We only stayed one 1 night before we flew to Santorini, but it was clean and all employees were extremely nice to us! They have breakfast included .
