Room was spacious. Nice traditional style design. My room only has a toilet. No private bath. If you don’t mind the public bath with the onsen, go for it. Amazing view of the sea. Downside is the hill + stairs climbing if you come at a timing outside of the transport service.

Room very smelly. Staff very cold and not very helpful Onsen water very cold. Tiniest sauna ever only fit 2 people.

The hotel is a bit old and located halfway up the mountain. There are not many choices in the convenience store and the location is remote. Although there is a special car to pick you up, I personally think it is more suitable for self-driving tours. The view from the room is nice.

The steep stairs going up the mountain are very difficult at night. There is no bathroom in the hotel room, so you need to go to the public bathroom. There are many ants in the tatami corner. The elevator only goes to the lower floors. If you live on the upper floors, you need to carry your luggage and climb the stairs. The two Indian waiters at the front desk had poor English skills and could only barely communicate. The advantages are that there is plenty of sunshine on the terrace, the Internet speed provided by the hotel is good, and the laundry room is clean and hygienic.

You either have to climb the steep mountain road for 15 minutes and get there, or you can take a taxi at Atami Station for 680 yen. Secondly, the hotel's additional charges are extremely distorted and unreasonable. The double room is 733 RMB, and the single room is 533 RMB. If you add one more person to the single room, you need to charge 10,270 yen as additional charges, which is equivalent to more than 500 RMB. How is this calculated? I would like to ask? There is no difference between the single room and the double room. The pillows and quilts are placed in the storage room in the room. You need to add 500 RMB to use them. It's incredible. Then there is the bathing charge. I can only say that the countryside is the countryside, and there are really many village rules. It's okay to charge you 150 yen per person for a bath, and it's okay to be a public bath, but there is also a set bathing time. You are required to take a bath before 23:00 at night. It's confusing. Are you teaching me how to do things? Then when it comes to check-in and check-out, you can only check in between 4pm and 9pm, and the latest check-out time in the morning is 10:56am. This is another confusing rule. The front desk girl was even more abstract. She couldn't explain it herself. Even when I pulled her old supervisor out, she still couldn't explain why the additional fee was so high. I'm really impressed by these rural hotels. The good thing about this place is that the scenery is really nice, but that's it. I don't recommend it to people other than those with masochistic tendencies.
