Went to restaurant for lunch. Dining room was being deep cleaned( plus point in my opinion) so ate in the front. Food was lovely, staff were friendly, non intrusive but attentive at the same time. Easy car parking. Would definitely go back again.

Booked for 1 night single room October 2024. When I told the staff I was likely to be checking in late and leaving early they were extremely helpful with the whole process. I was even warmly greeted at the door by when I arrived at 11.45pm and offered a drink which was most appreciated after a long journey. Room was lovely and the bed was warm and cosy. Lovely touches in the room, plus a binder with lots of info about the venue/surrounding areas and info on the breakfast and dinner menu - such great value for money and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I’m just sad I missed their regular gin night - great to hear they have lots of regular events for local too! I did purchase a bottle of their own gin - Lady Furzeleigh Melon and Papaya gin which is absolutely delicious. Huge huge thanks to Tessa and the team - I will definitely be back and I highly recommend Furzeleigh Mill.

Didn't stay the night but had a large friends and family dinner in the dining room. The food and service were excellent and all done with a smile.. The location is great too - quiet but easily accessible. Very happy to recommend Furzeleigh Mill.

Absolutely lovely pub, really warm and welcoming, clean and beautifully devorated. Friendly welcoming staff. Amazing food, absolutely delicious, we had the Sunday roast which was well worth the money. Only complaint was being charged £3.95 for a lemonade and £1.10 for a dash of lime..!!

Despite the restaurant being busy they were able to slot us in for lunch between two party bookings. We had a comfortable table in the bar and ordered three different dishes all of which were excellent. Lovely looking place, great service and food. No complaints. Also a decent price given the quality on offer.

We booked into room 12 - “best in the house” - last weekend for a romantic getaway. The room was amazing - more of a suite really. The four poster bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was stunning and the bathrobes were huge which is very unusual. We had breakfast each morning which was fabulous. We also had an evening meal - highly recommend the Vietnamese noodle salad as a main - and a perfect Sunday roast. The staff are lovely - so friendly and very attentive. The owner was also in evidence which is lovely. The hotel has been renovated in the last few years and it’s been done very sympathetically and in keeping with the hotel’s history. Highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely place to stay. We came here when doing the Polar express experience. The room was lovely, part of a cute cottage. Lovely attention to detail with a flask of oat milk for coffee/tea in the rooms. Lovely breakfast and restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you.

Very clean and comfortable. Bedroom was very nice, but the bathroom sink was very tiny though. Fine for one night. Breakfast was tasty and the evening meal was delicious. All the staff we we met were very friendly and happy to help. We would definitely come again.
