Be careful not to accept a room with a streetlight that prevents you from sleeping, and something that you should take care of is that guests do not have to endure the smell of fried fish. "This hotel is ideally placed to explore Antequera, and is near to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Being located near to a stunning tower, it’s easy to find your way back to as well if you get lost! The hotel offers parking facilities nearby, but we didn’t use them as we’d already found a free car park a short walk away, with no restrictions re overnight parking. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, and although we arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, we were able to access our room right away. The decor in reception was nice and there was a nice scent from some sort of air freshener which made for a good first impression. Our second floor room was clean and comfortable, with a double bed and a shower room. There was a TV and a fridge, neither of which we used. The decor was basic and I was disappointed to open the window shutters and find that it faced a wall with absolutely no view. This isn’t a room I would have wanted to stay for more than one night, but it was fine for our short visit and the location was perfect. There was also a lounge for guests to use with windows looking across to the tower and lovely trees of the area just outside."

"We didn't stay at the hotel just popped in for dinner. We waited around 20 mins for a server to come to us, when he did he was rather slow. We ordered a drink and 10 mins later he brought the wrong ones, which he corrected OK. Then we tried to order food, but he had to get a 'colleague' to serve us, that was another 10 mins or so. When we ordered the food that was another 20 mins until that came. When we got the food, everything was overcooked. I ordered lamb chops in garlic. The chops were well overcooked and dry and the chips also. All in all, the bill for two main meals and two drinks came to €44. We will never return. We have had much better food in the restaurants of service stations for half the price."

"Excellent value hotel situated on a motorway slip road. We booked in advance as a place to stay after a few days visiting Sierra de Andujar. We wanted to visit El Torcal before returning to Malaga. Arrived early evening , plenty of free parking. Check in was a bit slow & old school but the 4 of us shared 2 rooms which were clean & spacious with excellent bathrooms , hot water & gel etc provided . Very good value price - wise. The bar is good with food being served there as well as drinks. We didn't use the restaurant & also took our breakfast in the bar which was very busy with truck drivers."

"We stayed at the Antequera Hills Hotel for the 7 nights of our tour. The rooms were spacious and well maintained and cleaned regularly during our stay. We were B&B and the breakfasts were good and plentiful. We ate in, in the evening on occasions and the evening meal buffet was also good. Staff friendly and helpful. Road noise was minimal. Staying in close proximity to the Football stadium was not an issue noise wise. Swimming pool was available and well used in the heat( up to 37 deg C daily)."
