The hotel is 5 mins walk from Amsterdam Centraal. The architecture is vintage and beautiful. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The spa facilities in the hotel are excellent. Overall I had an amazing experience and relaxing stay.

Super duper close to Amsterdam Centraal station and there are buses and trams nearby. Just a 10-15 min walk to the Red Light districts and de Bijenkorf shopping mall. We said we didn't want end rooms but got arranged to one when we checked in... The view was nice with a balcony (but it's locked so you can't go outside) but my partner did not feel comfortable with end rooms. Eventually we called down to the front desk for a room and they changed us to a room nearer to the lifts. One thing I really liked about the hotel is that they use WhatsApp for requesting for amenities and checking out. It's convenient and simple to use but somehow... The housekeeping keeps on getting 1 or 2 items wrong lol Oh and please note that they don't provide bottled water, the whole city is proud of their tap water and the receptionist said it's safe to drink. If tap water isn't to your liking, there are quite a few stores nearby to buy mineral water. I would recommend going to Albert Heijn or Dirk for those. Slippers are provided in this hotel.

There is a free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station, which takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel itself is in the shape of a ship and faces the canal, making it a very interesting hotel. When you open the window, you can see the canal in front of you. The room and amenities we stayed in this time are the bare minimum, but if you just want to sleep, it's enough. Next time I would like to stay in a room with the letter BOTEL.

We had a disappointing experience with this hotel regarding double-charging us for taxes. We paid for our stay in advance and, upon check-in, were required to pay additional taxes, which we understood. However, we were mistakenly charged twice for those taxes. The receptionist assured us it would be resolved in a few days, but it’s now been over three weeks with no refund. Each week, we receive an email asking the same questions (names, dates, card info) as if a new person is handling the issue every time. Very frustrating and unprofessional service.

First room provided had a small window, that can onky be reached with a ladder. The claustrophobic feeling creeps in. Request a change of room, and was provided with one that is much better. Breakfast was OK, limited spread. No hot water in the morning as the overall heating system was down apparently. Checked out, and was given a free taxi voucher to go to our next destination. Good service saved the unfortunate circumstances. Kudos to the front office team thar managed this. Thank you.

It is not recommended to book a hotel in the city as there are many tourists, it is very messy and the streets are very dirty. The hotel itself is located close to the train station and the decoration is acceptable. However, small hotels have few staff, and breakfast is a la carte. If there are more than three tables occupied, you have to wait half an hour for food to be served, which is very slow. This time I encountered that the water heater was broken and there was no hot water for showering for two days. When I checked in, the hotel concealed the fact that there was no hot water last week. After the guests complained, they used various excuses to delay and conceal the problem...

Good location and the front desk is very helpful, The room has a unique style and is comfortable, very spacious for a family traveller, good food and nice ambiance.

This is the best location to live in Amsterdam. It’s right by the Museum Quarter so you’re within a 3 minute walk to 4 separate museums. One of the entrances to Vondelpark is right across the street. And if you want to head to Centrum, it’s a very straightforward walk. There are plenty of food options and all sorts of cuisines to pick from. The tram stops are also very close. The rooms are spacious (by Amsterdam standards) and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Very satisfied, away from the hustle and bustle of the old city, the room is clean and spacious, it is convenient to walk to the main commercial district, and the environment is good.
