Bij aankomst rond 23.20 uur krijg ik een kamer waar de schoonmakers absoluut niet binnen zijn geweest!!
Vieze kamer, geen 1 handdoek, bekers, shampoo te vinden . De beste man bij de receptie bod me een andere kamer aan met 2 losse bedden en dat is precies waar ik niet opzat te wachten!!
In 1 woord een drama.
Echt nooit een Bastion Hotel meer.
Altijd bij van der valk hotel geweest en nooit problemen gehad, mocht het toch het geval zijn dan wordt het ook heel snel voor je opgelost.
Op de foto zie je gelijk hoe ik de bed had aangetroffen bij binnenkomst. Bah

Nice hotel and great staff. Hotel is located by the highway and an industrial park - 35 minute walk to Centrum Amersfoort. Lots of fast food joints within walking distance. Great breakfast. Room was nicely laid out and the beds were comfortable. Down side; we stayed for 6 days and did ask for a cleaning after the 3rd. Mediocre job on the cleaning. That was not a show stopper but the air quality in the room left me waking up during the night and waking up every morning with a dry throat and stuffy sinuses. Management had the windows locked and would not let us open them to get fresh air. For that reason we would not stay there again.

We went to Holland to attend a festival happening near to this hotel.it was my two kids ( one teen aged one infant) and actually booked a room with two beds via ***********. We arrived at the reception , the lady was so rude I don’t know why but she was talking to everyone unprofessionally. we received our card but the room wasn’t the one we requested for so sadly I had to go back ask her again . She said my son can sleep with one of our friend who was actually staying in the same hotel. That is where the fight started anyway we argued and she changed a room for us which still wasn’t really what we asked but better than the previous one .The breakfast ; the place is very crowded and very few options/ variety . The Receptionist I met when we check out was actually so nice but it was all after the horrible experience.

This is a very new hotel. The staff, food, cleanliness was excellent. We were there for a swim meet at Amerena and it is the closest hotel. We also rented a car though ******* and it was only €26/day. (The taxi ride to get the car was more expensive than the daily rate) We were at the Bastion Hotel for a week and the ONLY issue I had was that we were too close to the elevator. We were in room 422 the second from the elevator. You need your keycard to get in the elevator at floor zero, and when you get off you need it again to get into your floor. The opening and especially closing of that door was very loud especially noticeable in the morning when people are leaving between 5-6am. We had another room (325) and they were far enough away that they could not hear it. Besides that, we will definitely be staying here again next year for the swim meet.

Best hotel to stay if you are driving to Amsterdam or surrounding areas. Loved the environment and buzz of the hotel.
McDonalds, KFC and Starbucks on a 2 minute walk and Petrol Pump for you to fill before you start your journey.
Didn't use the breakfast option but hotel had that available with beautiful settings.
I would rate 10/10 to this hotel and you will agree with me once you see the room and bathroom, amazing.
Parking is available and security access to room and each floor with your room key.

Payment taken twice from my bank account even if before paying the 2nd time I showed to the receptionist my bank statement, money already taken (700 EUR). She insisted I have to pay to be able to check in. I tryed explaining I payed already through *******, proof shown. Have spoken with the hotel manager, the issue was found in their system, I've been assured a refund for the 2nd payment will be processed asap. Lot's of emails exchanged after my departure, being asked every time why I need a refund. Shocking, all the supporting docs provided many times. I had to involve my Bank to get my money back after more than 2 weeks. Business trip cut short because I needed to spend hours at the reception to have this issue sorted which it was a waste of time, also hours spent at home exchanging emails for a issue that should be easy to fix. It looks like it's a poor communication between HQ and local Amersfoort hotel. Amersfoort hotel manager very helpful and respectful but unfortunately it was a long journey to have my money back.

Parkeerplaats slecht aangegeven en in eerste instantie werd het hek niet geopend. Inchecken verliep moeizaam want receptiemedewerker was die avond druk met bar en bediening. Kamer was mooi van opzet maar niet schoon. Toilet poepsporen, lege wc rol, wc borstel geen handvat meer, haren en vuil in wasbak en prullenmand niet leeg. Vuile drinkbekers badkamer. Teennagels op grond. Matras bed niet echt lekker maar dat kan voorkeur zijn. Veel rumoer op de gang gedurende de nacht. Had een kamer aan begin van de gang. Ontbijt was erg goed maar routing klopt niet helemaal. Uitchecken door vriendelijke maar onverschillige medewerkster. Ging verder niet in op klachten kamer. Dit was geen goede ervaring, jammer!!

Erg mooie hotelkamer met een geweldige badkamer. Heerlijk ontbijt ook en vriendelijk personeel. Ik verblijf in heel hotels wereldwijd, maar deze was wel speciaal doordat alles klopte. Locatie was voor ons top i.v.m. met mijn vrouw haar werk, maar kan me voorstellen dat anderen liever dichter in het centrum willen zitten.
