Hotel Floridiana

I spent five nights at Floridiana Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a good bathroom with modern fittings. Breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of variety, in a lovely, large breakfast-room with a superb ceiling fresco. The staff were all efficient, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect: central, yet quiet. I preferred Amalfi to Positano: slightly less packed with tourists; more of a feel of a real village; less likely to have the ferries cancelled. I can find no fault. Highly recommended.

The location can't be beat, and the breakfast was excellent. But most of all we appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the front desk. They were lovely and provided us with great advice and information. Wonderful stay.

Wonderful hotel. Greeted at the hotel upon checking in by the owner to be informed that it is a family business. Our room was spotlessly clean, very large with the bathroom modern and very spacious. Breakfast is served each morning in a beautifully decorated room with a good of selection of foods to suite your needs. Sleep was not a problem as the hotel is set back from the main street and very quiet. We stayed three nights and it was a very pleasant experience. If you are going to Amalfi and looking for excellent accommodation then look no further. I highly recommend staying here!

fantastic hotel - beutiful decor, the staff are extermely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is exceptionally fresh and tasy. The room and bed were super comfortable. The hotel is easy to get to - a few steps but thats normal for Amalfi. Highly recommended.

A lovely boutique hotel just off the main shopping street in Porto Ischia. Also, close to the beach. Super breakfast and staff very friendly. all the rooms have a view but if you can request a high room looking over the pool.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the middle of tourist season and absolutely loved it. It was easy to find despite being down a narrow alley. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. It's an older style building but the rooms were very thoughtfully appointed and felt extremely clean. I can't stress how CLEAN the rooms felt, especially compared to the low standard set by the rest of Italy. One word of warning however... If you're on the 1st floor, there is some kind of crowded B&B directly above with a very busy communal area. Every evening, until after midnight, we had a nonstop parade of loud footsteps, furniture being moved around and things being dropped upstairs. Being an older building, it's extremely loud and disturbing to anyone who wants to sleep at a normal hour. Whoever decided to open up a tacky hostel-style business upstairs has no regard for their neighbours and has completely ruined all the hard work put into Floridiana hotel.
