"We could not recommend this hotel enough. Each and every one of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotless and really well maintained and our room was cleaned daily. The terrace/bar and pool area are lovely and are surrounded by beautiful, manicured planting and grassed area. Huge tv and pool table to the side of the bar area. I loved the open plan nature of all these areas. Sitting on the bar terrace having a cocktail you would think you were in the middle of a park with only trees and rooftops all around. The room was huge with a large comfy bed and a really good fitted out kitchen with included a large fridge/freezer and proper oven. We didn’t need the air con but there was a unit in the main area and another in the bedroom area. Good thick towels as well. We went here to relax and couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere, it was so peaceful and tranquil. I loved sitting on the balcony listening to and watching the birds in among the trees. We didn’t have a pool view but it made no difference to us at all. Location is great. There is a large supermarket about 5 mins away and then it is another 5 min walk into town with a few bars and restaurants on the way. The town is for rambling in with tiny quaint streets and is full of amazing restaurants, cafes and bars. If you like walking, the nature boardwalk is a must which leads onto a beautiful beach. There are stunning views all along it, then grab a coffee or a cocktail overlooking the harbour and boats as a reward for all the hard work : ) We went for a special occasion and on the day, we came back to the hotel room to find wine chilling in an ice bucket with chocolates and a lovely platter of fruit with the sweetest of notes left beside it. It was such a lovely surprise and a thoughtful thing to do and definitely added another great memory to the occasion. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to return in the future. "The location of this hotel is great, right on the Alvor beach. The staff are welcoming and efficient. And the cleaners come regularly. However the accommodation is dated and basic. The bath needed updating and the doors were not soundproofed. We were disappointed to find the advertised indoor pool was closed permanently. Also there is a surcharge for the safe, which we only found out on arrival."

"The hotel has great location with a path leading straight down to Alvor beach. There is a boardwalk that runs alongside the beach allowing for a scenic 20minute stroll into Alvor town. The hotel grounds are nicely landscaped and we enjoyed the outdoor activities including Padel and mini golf. There’s also an adults only infinity pool in a more secluded spot. The room was spacious with a large balcony, comfortable beds and soft crisp sheets. A large TV in the room had ample international channels. The bathroom was spacious with a shower/ bath enclosure which seems to be standard. There is food available all day as breakfast runs into brunch then lunch. The main restaurant closes 2.30pm until dinner at 630pm. And you can have snacks at the pool bar during this period. On The lower around level there is a games area and an indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Children can use the pool. The entertainment team provide is a kids club and usually some games eg pétanque in the afternoon. We enjoyed the history walk into Alvor with Theresa who is friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable of the area. Shout out to Ruben in the coral bar who makes a great Caipirinja."

"We really liked the facilities and service, especially the staff at Green Restaurant. Despite being very busy, the buffet never ran out of anything, and the food was very good. The staff was always very active and ready to help. The pool is excellent, but it's a shame the weather wasn't very good for enjoying it. I recommend it."

"Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. We only had one night here so didn't get to appreciate the surroundings and facilities. Amazing staff at reception on arrival and at breakfast (such a wonderful lady who helped us with all our orders) Lovely, clean, and fresh room. **The only issue I have is the shower, its fine with the blind down and lights off but if you wasnt with a partner, it could be quite embarrassing Will visit again"
