Grupotel Port d´Alcudia

Very friendly staff, clean hotel, self catering kitchenette adequate for needs. Nearby supermarket selling most things.Swimming pool was clean and supported with a lifeguard. Air conditioning worked well. Balcony was good size with table and four rattan chairs. No complaints, pleased to recommend.

The hotel was chilled and no hussle amd bustle anywhere. Staff in every department were friendly and attentive and the place was spotless. The rooms are spacious and modern and cleaning staff doing their tounds every day with a smile.on their face. Food was brilliant, plenty.of choice breakfast and evening meal amd food at the snack bar reasonably priced. Pool area was great and NO sunbed wars or people up at stupid hours. Always a bed available at any time. Location is perfect, 5.min walk to the beach and situated between the port and the *****. The evening entertainment shuts down at 10.40pm and the bar area at 11pm which suits us fine as there is plenty of bars etc within walking distance. We have been to alcudia for 3 times now and this is the best place we have stayed. Thank you for a brilliant stay and can't speak highly enough of this hotel.

Overall good experience,staff great,food good,great Aircon, Just a little note,why do management feel the need to put a laminate note to the t.v.,saying we should keep all our possession s tidy,so cleaner can clean our room?I felt like BIG BROTHER was watching every move and felt the urge to clean the room before the cleaning lady.whilst on holiday I want to totally relax and my room should feel like home, so please dispense of the warning notes so we can all enjoy a good stay.

The hotel exceeded expectations. Clean, comfortable. Very friendly, welcoming staff. No rushimg down to get a sunbed. Lovely pool. One of the best all inclusive hotels we've visited in terms of the food. A good selection of meats/fish/canarian dishes, as well as your usual staples for kids, pizza, chips, nuggets, spaghetti bolognese etc. Snack bar also offering burgers, hotdogs. Location is excellent. A spar shop directly opposite the reception entrance. Approx 7 min walk to the beach. Approx 20 min walk from the marina or about €7 euros in a taxi. Had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend

Stayed 2 weeks in a studio apartment, was ideal for my wife and i, cleaners were very regular, staff in general were more than helpful, well done , would go back to Grupotel Alcudia, everything was pretty much walking distance as we were self catering

Very clean rooms, all staff where extremley helpful and friendly, excellent location, food was lovely, very good varied selection everyday.. highly recommend and will return, lovely holiday..and the most amazing beach 5 minutes walk from Hotel..

A bit of a mixed review. The hotel was generally disappointing and I wouldn't class this as a 4* hotel. The good bits: - Great location, close to the beack (which is lovely) and on good bus routes to old town and the port - Jose in the restaurant, and his staff, are very friendly and make an extra effort with the kids which is great - snack bar is good - the breakfast was varied The bad bits: - Beds seriously uncomfortable - Air con not great - Hotel quite dirty overall, the spa was filthy - showers around the pool area don't really work - If you are all inclusive, this only includes a very basic selection of drinks and you have to pay for anything not on this list - the cocktails you can get with the all inclusive option are basically juice - evening entertainment average - kids entertainment mundane and repetitive - bar staff extremely miserable and unhelpful - reception staff also the same. very unhelpful and quite rude, this shocked us - the food is OK, but the layout of the buffet is extremely poor. In the evenings, queues for food are long at 7pm and this is all because the grill is at the front. kids generally don't want food from the grill, but you find yourself having to queue to get past the grill in order to get to the other food Overall a disappointing experience. We loved Alcudia itself, and plan to return next year - but will be looking for an alternative hotel which offers better value.

Excellent hotel and a very good resort the only thing was excursions were a good way away from resort so coach trip was quite long, Hotel staff excellent, entertainment and children’s facilities excellent. Had a excellent holiday and would return.👍

We have just returned from a ten day family holiday.We had a fantastic time.The staff at the hotel were amazing, very friendly and helpful.We were on the 4th floor and the room was very quiet and we got an excellent night's sleep.The sofa bed in the living room was more comfortable than the beds that were hard.The family room was very good a small kitchen area ,with a lovely bathroom and a living room area and a bedroom.There were plenty of sun loungers around the pool and the pool area was great.The food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was great .Staff in the dining area were very good and lovely with the children. The hotel is in an excellent location 5 minutes walk from the beach and close to restaurants bars and shops.There were a few power cuts during our stay but staff worked hard to provide food and charge phones and the power cuts were in Alcudia and out of their control.We had a lovely stay ,the girls loved the pool and we would definitely go back.
