"This is by far the best hostel I stayed at, in spite of the number of occupants. I was lucky to have very quiet boys in the room. There’s only one bathroom, connected to the room, but it worked. The hostel is new, modern and spotless. The owner is very friendly. The hostel is also 5 minutes walk from the beach. It was perfect. It’s a long walk to Albufeira from the city buses, and not very clear where the FlixBus stops. I wouldn’t recommend walking from the train station, which took me 4 hours. There’s a local bus, don’t scrimp = TAKE IT. Or take an Uber, or Bolt. Or ask the taxi what he wants to charge from the bus stop at the train station ! The RedeExpress is where the bus station is (but not for the FlixBus). In summary, you can go to Albufeira by FlixBus, but it’s difficult to know where FlixBus leaves Albufeira from. That all said, Albufeira is very difficult in high season, TOO CROWDED, but the Portuguese are tolerant and very patient because they know that tourism is lucrative and has raised the whole country out of poverty. Residents enjoy cheap and / or free public transport on local buses (cheap monthly passes). Residents are respectful and kind. You can practice your Portuguese with them for a laugh, but they all speak English to varying degrees. Here you can meet real residents. On the beach, not necessarily in the pubs. I loved it here. Don’t miss it."

"Beautiful hotel which was spotless clean. As an all inclusive booking the only access to food post 6pm was evening meal and felt missing access to snacks in the evening. Very relaxed and laid back setting where nothing was a rush. Maybe some.music in and arou d the pool.area during the day and access to more evening entertainment with games or alternative to jusy the band that were playing would have been good. Overall a pleasant stay and loved the room size and walk in shower"

"The hotel's biggest advantage is its location on the best beach, Falesia. The views are picturesque. The hotel itself is small, but the grounds are well-planned, with several spots to enjoy the scenery. It's very beautiful and cozy. I booked a standard room, and they gave me a very old room on the second floor with a view of the parking lot. The room had a strong musty smell, old carpeting, and there were constant renovation noises from the parking area. I have allergies, so staying in such a room was very uncomfortable. Therefore, I had to pay an extra 70 euros for one night to switch to a sea-view room. They gave me a room on the fourth floor, in a different wing. This room was a bit smaller, and there wasn't a strong musty smell, especially with the balcony open, but the sea view definitely made up for everything! The breakfasts are excellent, service is good, and there's yoga and stretching offered throughout the day. There's both an outdoor and an indoor pool. In May, it's still a bit cold, so you can't really swim much. The staff are pleasant and try their best to help with everything."

"I wanted to give this hotel 5 stars because of some of the negative reviews, I found the staff very friendly the apartment's were very spacious and very clean, yes the apartment's are a little out of the way but only a 10 minute walk from the strip and 15mins from the new town centre, we used the uber taxi's and it only cost around 2 to 3 euro's per trip, the surrounding neighbourhood was not rough and we walked into the town on many occasion and our ages are 66,67 and 71 my fiends and my self will certainly be booking again in the future"

"The staff, housekeeping included, provided exceptional service. The hotel on its starts to show some wear, but it is still a very nice hotel. The terrace on our room was very spacious. However - the furniture and sun-beds could have been more comfortable. Bathroom was small, but you don’t live on your bathroom so we got by. During our stay there was a slight smell, presumably from the plumbing . We didn’t use any of the hotel restaurants. Nearby restaurants was of good quality so we’re satisfied. There was a multitude of different choices in close proximity. And as such we was also very satisfied with the hotel location directly on the beach, at the same time it was excellent starting point to explore more of nearby places (Faro, Lagos, Alte) Again I have to compliment the staff on this hotel for excellent service, making our stay and vacation enjoyable."

"This place has polarizing reviews.. After going there, I understand why. The facilities and services are good. You can use the swimming pool, washer and dryer (performance is poor), sauna and spa for free, and although the building structure is unique (1st and 8th floor reception, 2 elevator transfers, etc.), it's okay if you get used to it. We couldn't find the way by taxi, so we climbed the hill with our suitcases, but the reception on the first floor is near the spar mart. They were friendly, but the air conditioner was broken so I called twice and they didn't come so I just gave up. This place is in the middle of the old town, so I actually made a reservation based on the location, but it's literally in the middle of the club street, so even if you're inside the accommodation, you'll be staying at the concert hall all night long. There's no soundproofing, so you have to enjoy it together until 5 a.m. The noise is another level, as foreign reviews say. I’m traveling around the world, but this place is really ambiguous haha. The breakfast isn’t bad, but it’s just ambiguous… . Personally, I think it would be less noisy and better if it wasn't just in this alley because it's Albupay!!"

"We loved everything! The service was incredibly helpful, the facilities were excellent, and having access to the entire Marriott group was a pleasant surprise. Our only minor complaint was regarding the cleaning. Since we stayed in an apartment, they only clean every four days and don't even change the towels. I agree that daily cleaning isn't necessary, but towels, at the very least, should be changed more regularly. We asked for fresh towels earlier and they were very accommodating, but when the cleaning staff did come, they didn't replace them again, and they even missed the floor towels. We had to call reception a few times, but they always resolved all our issues with great assistance."
