Beaufort House Akaroa

不錯，位置很好，人也不錯服務的。酒店風格很有意思，比網上圖片好看。早餐也還可以。很喜歡阿卡羅阿這個小鎮，很美。人少，世外桃源的感覺。

Character house set in lovely gardens. Very comfortable rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Free onsite parking. Very knowledgable and accommodating hosts, who provided an excellent breakfast and evening drinks and canapés. Within easy walking distance of the town, bars and restaurants and boar tour departure points.

We had a great time at Beaufort House. While not being used to staying in a bed and breakfast, this was a great change from the big hotel chains. Noel and Sharon are wonderful hosts and it was fun to meet new people every day over evening drinks and canapés. Say hello to Milo the cat!

The hosts were very welcoming to their elegantly decorated 19th Century house in beautiful Akoroa. Hospitality was very generous with drinks and delicious canapes on the veranda or inside at 6pm. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of fruits and cereals. The cooked option with free range eggs was also very tasty with croissants too. The room and bathroom were very comfortable. Helpful restaurant recommendations and also support with a suitcase repair were gratefully received! We would definitely return.

The Banks Peninsula, and the town of Akaroa in particular, are extremely charming. This bed-and-breakfast takes that charm to new heights. The architecture and the setting are superb, and the owner's passion for collecting has transformed the home inside into a living museum. Sharon was a very gracious host, with great ceremony around having a drinks time before her guests depart for dinner as well as a breakfast service involving an astounding number of forks, knives, spoons and successive layers of china (and ancient 78s played on a real Victrola). This was truly a unique experience, and one that seemed very characteristic of the place. There are four bedrooms, three upstairs, and one downstairs which is rather small.

This B&B is the perfect accommodation if you want to be walkable to Akaroa but away from the restaurants and motels downtown. Surrounded by old trees and well kept gardens, this B&B is noteworthy for its outstanding hospitality. For instance, they host a 6:00 pm gathering for all of their guests complete with cold drinks and homemade hors d'oeuvres. We met interesting couples from all over the world. Breakfast is a delight with continental fare, fresh baked croissant and / or an English breakfast. My wife and I, inveterate travelers, rate Beaufort House as our all time favorite B&B.
