DoubleTree by Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island Residences

This was a stopover as we were getting the flight the following day. Check in and service at reception was very good and the welcome cookie was a nice touch. Although the dinner was included the buffet selection was not huge as was neither the breakfast but both were quite enough. Room was very comfortable and very clean and could not comment on the housekeeping as it was for one night only. Was disturbed once when people entered the room thinking it was empty so locked the door after that. Would be great for a family with young children as the Warner Bros theme park is next door.

The hotel has great location near the theme parks and major shopping centre, staff are helpful and friendly. Especially their valet service is excellent. The room to improvement is the setup may not be attention to details in the room setup, e.g. no cups for toothbrush, no tower at the pantry. But overall I enjoyed my 3 days stay at the hotel.

Front desk lady on 12 Feb day time is not nice to client. As a four star hotel, it doesn’t make sense to chase client to pay upfront in swimming pool rather than billing to room.

Doubletree Baniyas Island is excellent property , we loved the hotel and their breakfast is superb

The hotel is nicely located on Yas Island, just a few steps from the Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi. There is also free shuttle to Yas Mall which is convenient. We have tried the pool as well, it was nice and clean. The room equipped with mini kitchen, with all the necessary cooking utensils inside the room which is a big plus.

Location is great for anyone keen on the Yas Island theme parks - which worked out well for me. Otherwise, it might be a little far-off. It was not as easy as expected to hail a taxi on my own, hence thankful for the help from the hotel reception in this regard. Otherwise, there is a Yas Island shuttle bus stop just outside the hotel, though its schedule might not fit. Nothing to fault on service - all requests and questions were duly attended to, though somehow it just lacked that personal touch. All essential amenities are provided, and facilities are comprehensive. Will recommend the hotel for theme park enthusiasts, and/or those who would appreciate a bit more tranquility.

Great hotel - very clean and the rooms are spacious. We should have stayed one more night!
