Stay for a week while waiting for settlement date for a new house. Most of the staff at the bar/ check in were great. Housekeeping were awesome,cleaned and replenished things every day. It was a nice experience.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel

The room and bathroom is small. The shower head is fixed which means difficult to control the water flow and cold water will flow out when you go inside. The WiFi connection is not stable. The only good thing is that the laundry facilities is good. Breakfast is normal with limited choice. The price is quite high and not value for money.

Very happy with my stay at Movenpick hobart from 18-21/01/25 (Sat to Tue) for AU$606 - the rate (20% off for diamond tier) is even better than their end of year sale via official website as an ACCOR member (15% off) Since other's reviews of classic rooms seem depressing as there is no view at all.....thus I booked a superior room with city view. However being allocated to room 403 on the 4/F .....instead of full length windows as per promotional pics.....my window is relatively less impressive. Also there is a high pitch wheezing sound from the corridor......but the sound has gone once we open our door..... hopefully I can have a better room above 5/F next time. Chocolate hours and the day bed in the room are something that we liked most, not much interaction with staff so hard on their hospitality....but on the day of check in around 3pm, a cleaning staff just entered and shocked to see us inside. She thought the room needs to be clean hopefully not making her scared

Well located property in the hear of Launceston CBD. Rooms are comfortable, simple but dated. Some lower floors have older bathrooms which have shower head and bathtub overdue for repair, but higher floors have new bathrooms which are nicer and more comfortable. Close to attractions- A must visit is the Cataract Gorge site located a short drive just outside Launceston CBD. Car parking on site which is convenient.

Great place, good facilities and clean rooms. Shout out to the ****** who wake up at 5 am stand around talking and wake everyone up and then start their noisy cars and leave to go to another hotel.

The pods are extremely comfortable. At first I was afraid of the quality but I was nothing but satisfied. Everyone who was there was kind and respectful of each other and I would 100% stay again. The only thing I would criticise is the bathroom. Which could use a bit of a clean especially the showers.

We are quite surprised and pleased with the complete amenities of our room. We have all toiletries (eg towels, shower gel, lotion, hair dryer) except tooth brush and toothpaste, smart TV, kitchen stuff (kettle, microwave, toaster, dishes and spoons). Another plus is good location with stunning lake view, many parking lots and close to the center. Although the room is quite small but we love the comfort and coziness it brings.

While the hotel offers a range of appealing amenities, including a heated swimming pool, our recent three-night stay was marred by cleanliness issues within our room. Despite reporting stained bedsheets to the reception on the second night, the problem remained unresolved until the afternoon of the day. Even then, the room attendant's attempt to rectify the situation was incomplete, as a stained linen was inadvertently left behind. While the hotel's facilities and standard amenities were comparable to other accommodations, the cleanliness shortcomings significantly impacted our overall experience. We hope that future guests will not encounter similar issues and that the hotel will take steps to address and prevent such occurrences in the future.
