The balcony made it even better, giving us a lovely spot to wind down at the end of each day. The beach and pool area were simply stunning. Crystal-clear water, sun loungers at the ready, and an atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. We spent most of our days here and never once wanted to be anywhere else. Breakfast deserves a special mention — it was an absolute highlight. Fresh, generous, and lovingly put together every morning. The authentic traditional Turkish tea served at the table was a true delight, and the simit — that gorgeous sesame-crusted bread — became my personal favourite way to start the day. What truly elevates Lugga above other hotels is the people. This is a family-run hotel, and you feel it in every interaction. The warmth here isn’t rehearsed — it’s genuine. The hand-made Turkish coffee offered at reception was an unexpectedly lovely touch, the kind of small gesture that stays with you long after you’ve checked out. We left already talking about coming back. Lugga isn’t just a hotel — it’s an experience. Highly, highly recommend. Since this was our first foreign trip together, I wanted our four nights here to be a special treat. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi suite with sea view was a major disappointment and downright waste of money. The balcony jacuzzi was unusable since the water was, at best, lukewarm, and the water pressure poor. However, the breathtaking view from our room was simply to die for. Unfortunately, that's what I almost did since the guardrail on the balcony had a bolt unfastened and shifted dangerously under my weight! Inside, the wallpaper was coming off the walls in several places but the ac worked well and the bed was comfy. The manager did his best to remedy the problems and even offered to move us to another suite which we declined since it was smaller and had a lesser view. And there lies the redeeming quality of this hotel. It's staff! Everyone from the restaurant manager to the activities director was geniunly friendly and helpful. No fake smiles or canned greetings. Despite the disappointment of paying for a jacuzzi that we couldn't use, the amazing view from our balcony and the wonderful staff made our stay at King Royal Palace Ölüdeniz truly memorable.

I liked our apartment with a little bit of sea view and it was clean. The staff was always very friendly and with the help of the guest relationship manager, everything could be organized. The breakfast was good and the pool areas nice for a swim.
