We stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags. The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required. Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100. The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old. When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage. The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy. The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening. The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day. There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu. The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse. The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

During the Chinese New Year, my family came to Quanzhou for a trip. We chose the Quanzhou West Lake Hotel by the West Lake. The facilities are very new. I like the decoration style. The popular light-seeing style can intelligently adjust the light in various scenes. The bedding is soft and very comfortable. The dry and wet separation is provided. The bathtub is equipped with a disposable bath bag. The hotel has a rich breakfast in Chinese and Western styles. The beef noodles are super delicious. There is a coffee machine and 55-degree health tea at the front desk. The front desk lady is professional and handles things quickly. Everyone has a beautiful smile. It is a very comfortable hotel to stay in. I sincerely recommend it

From the moment I entered, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of my room. It was not only tidy but also well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in housekeeping truly stood out, and it was evident that the staff takes great pride in providing a pristine environment for their guests. One of the standout features of my stay was the complimentary laundry service. This thoughtful amenity made my trip even more convenient, allowing me to refresh my wardrobe without any hassle. It’s a fantastic perk, especially for travelers who are on the go or attending conferences. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day. I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay. Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (*******) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room. Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me. Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

It's not an easy place to reach if, like us, you are a family of 6 with a baby and a lorry load of luggage. We arrived by high speed train at Nanjing (Fujian) and found a taxi to take us to the hotel (one way ¥260, negotiated from ¥300). The journey was around 2 hours on winding and slow roads (on the way back we took the high speed motorway which reduced the journey time to around an hour). The hotel is in a rural location off the main tourist areas. We arrived later than expected but we were able to get dinner. The food is exceptional. The chicken in particular is delicious. We booked a family room with a slide. Our children would of happily spent the entire stay in the room playing on the slide. I've stayed in many 5 star branded hotels and yet this guesthouse has so many little extras, gadgets and technology than most. The password keypad door handle is perhaps the most over complicated means of opening a door, but I applaud the dedication to style and design. The toilet has a Japanese style multifunction thing going on. It took me a long time to figure out how to flush it. The toilet seat lifts when you open the door! The TV is a large projection on the wall. Not being Chinese I struggled to figure how to get regular TV channels. Everything I found required pay to view. It was a nice and clear projection however, and if able to understand the programming it would be amazing. We enjoyed 2 days touring various Tulou's. There are many within a short drive, though behind the hotel there is a small village with Tulou and earth buildings that make for a lovely walk. Overall, a great guesthouse with trendy vibes and family friendly facilities. Very comfortable stay.

Have booked this hotel for 4 nights, on the third day the hotel told me I have to evacuate the premises in 2 hours, as they have encountered water and electricity issues, they just tell you to leave and without any service recovery, I was nearly stranded at such short notice…they should have a better protocol to address this, nevertheless I like this hotel and I do recommend for travelers looking for a clean and budget accommodation in Fuzhou.

Who can relate? I was completely won over by my stay at Lanou Hotel! As soon as I walked in, the clean and spacious lobby had such a great atmosphere. The front desk staff, Shan Shan, was super friendly—she quickly handled my check-in and even shared local travel tips. When I was checking out, it was raining, and they even held an umbrella for me all the way to the car. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the essentials were fully stocked at the front desk. Everything was perfect—highly recommend!

At first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

This hotel is easily one of the best I have ever stayed at. The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing. There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too. Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.

The staff are polite and nice and the breakfast are very nice, with various type of dishes. . However, the facilities are relatively old. The air conditional function normally, but the room temperature stayed at 25 while we set to 21.

Yiju Hotel is beyond our expectations. The room was beautifully presented, and the staff there was polite and helpful. The afternoon tea on the rooftop was very memorable, and the staff took family photos for us. He sent them to us by WeChat and printed a few of them out. No effort was spared - on the envelope was a message in English as he realised my husband doesn't speak Chinese. Breakfast was again beautifully presented in the quaint courtyard. They helped us register to see the Baguo Building - we had no idea we have to pre-register. They helped bring our luggage down to town upon check out and gave us a lunch recommendation, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I am truly thankful for the level of service they have extended and I highly recommend this hotel!
