I recently had the pleasure of staying at [Hotel Name], and I must say it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to [local attractions, shops, restaurants, or public transport]. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always eager to assist with any requests. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and my room was spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The amenities, such as [mention any amenities like free Wi-Fi, fitness center, pool, restaurant, etc.], were top-notch and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The hotel is very old located in the center of George Twon closer to seaside. I have booked family room. Space and lay out is ok but 2 issues, 1 the inner parents room has a large empty space by the window (seaview the say but hardly seeing tho) we were puzzled why no pair of sofa chairs with a tea table, what is this space for? Super odd... 2 the connecting door for two rooms doesn't close well, not saying the lock doesn't work, no no, the door can't even able to be fully shut. Services is almost zero. Don't count on it. All in all besides the location and fact has family room options, I don't have anything else to write home about this hotel. Oh and the sound proof is zero too, not saying between our 2 rooms. I basically had bad sleep whole 4 nights stay cos outside in the hall almost never stopped having doors open/shutting and people loudly talking/walking by noises... Won't book again.

Definitely will come again next time with kids. Nearby facilities like shop and restaurant are a bit far and not in walking distance. But for the waterpark, yes will come again next time! 🤗

Hotel is located conveniently on New Lane where there is a touristy night market (check prices before ordering). The 2 main roads are Dato Karmat and Macallister which makes it convenient and accessible for transportation. The facilities such as gym/ small pool are pretty old but hotel tries to upkeep and maintain as much as possible. I had an issue with very smelly sweaty blanket/ comforter and requested for them to change it and they did. Airconditioning and shower was strong, adequate ammenities were provided and towels were clean. However, beds were slightly uncomfortable as I could feel the spring coils. Carpark is free for guest, just get parking coupons from counter.

E&O is our favourite hotel in Penang. Being a local Penangite, we frequently ate at Sarkies and even had our wedding in this hotel 10 years ago. We're back in this hotel for our anniversary, however we were a little disappointed with our stay. The bathtub in our corner suite is extremely dirty and stained. We asked the housekeepers to clean it as we wanted to use it. Worse of all, when we filled the tub with water, to our horror, the water was brown in colour!! Not sure if there is proper maintenance done to ensure the water supply is not tainted. The housekeepers also did not refill the complimentary mini bar items despite stating that our suite includes replenishment of the mini bar items on a daily basis. The surface area and tables were not wiped properly as well when they came to clean the room. We hope the management would seriously look into this matter, especially on the water source and overall cleanliness of the suite / bathroom.

Super good view from the room and delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the night, but this round, I rated 3 for cleanliness because there was tomato on the floor and ants inside the room. I support the idea of being eco-friendly, but housekeeping is important, especially after checkout from previous customers.

We loved staying at this hotel. The staff were very helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and care goes into making everything comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Excellent service especially the housekeeping. Dining was great and the service was friendly and efficient. We also used the spa which was lovely.

If you're looking for a simple, clean, and no-frills place to stay, this hotel ticks all the right boxes. Rooms: The rooms at Raia Inn are clean, functional, and well-maintained. The decor is simple, with modern touches, and the room size is just right for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, with good quality bedding, ensuring a solid night’s sleep. The air conditioning worked well, which is essential in Penang’s hot and humid weather. The bathroom was basic but clean, with hot water available, and the shower pressure was good. Overall, it's a comfortable, straightforward space to relax after a day of sightseeing. Service: The service at Raia Inn Penang was friendly and efficient. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff was always available to help with any queries. While this isn’t a high-end hotel, the staff made sure everything was running smoothly. Housekeeping kept the room clean, and any additional requests I made (like extra towels) were quickly addressed. Amenities: Raia Inn isn’t packed with a ton of luxury amenities, but it has all the essentials. There’s a small fitness center if you want to get in a workout, though it’s not as expansive as those in larger hotels. Free Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay, which is always a plus for both leisure and business travelers. There’s also a small restaurant on-site where you can enjoy breakfast, but if you're looking for more variety, Penang’s vibrant food scene is just a short drive away. The hotel also has free parking, which is handy if you're renting a car to explore the island. Location: Raia Inn Penang is located in a more suburban area, which means it's away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but it’s still quite accessible. It’s about a 20-minute drive from Georgetown, where you can explore the famous street art, heritage buildings, and fantastic food. The hotel is also close to the Penang International Airport, which makes it very convenient if you’re flying in or out. There are a few local eateries and convenience stores in the area, but if you’re craving more variety, it’s easy to hop in a taxi or grab a ride to the city. Overall: If you're looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Penang without breaking the bank, Raia Inn Penang is a solid choice. It's not a luxury hotel, but it offers good value for the price. The rooms are comfortable, the service is friendly, and the location is convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Perfect for a short stay or as a base to explore Penang.

Our group of 5 have an extremely delightful 3 nights stay in Ozo Hotel. Location is great, and walkable to many eateries, shops and attractions. Room is modern, well designed, bright and pleasing. While the pillows and quilt are very comfortable, we felt the mattress is both too soft and saggy which affected our sleep. The best part of our stay is surely attributed to their wonderful and friendly staffs like Yin, Ariq (and many others whose names I forgot to ask.) They really go that extra mile to make our day! And don’t forget to try out the delicious and sumptuous breakfast too. Helmed by Chef Aaron, the menu is changed daily so guests are never bored with same food. The sambal chilli and curry puffs are home made and a Must Try! In summary, other than the discomfort with the sunken mattresses, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
