My partner and I thorougly enjoyed our stay at Biwako Hotel. All rooms face the beautiful Lake Biwako and the view was perfect. We even caught a snowfall on one of our mornings here. The staff was great and always friendly even when there was a slight language barrier. We tried their breakfast as well which was really good. Highly recommend renting their electric bikes and cycling around the lake during sunset. And also going for the Lake Biwako Cruise! The hotel onsen is wonderful as well, we will definitely be back

Pros - Astonishing view - I had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both are delicious - Staffs are dedicated to serve - so despite the language the overall experience is still very enjoyable Cons - It surprised me how little English the staff can speak, especially in the restaurant (I don't normally complain about this in Japan but this is a Marriott...) - The shuttle bus service is a bit off... Last bus from station to hotel is before 19:00 and the information is so hard to find

It's very close to the station, so it's easy to use for those coming by train. We came by car, and the parking lot was very close to the hotel, but a little hard to find. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety at the buffet, so we were very satisfied. There's also a convenience store inside the hotel, which was convenient. There's a shopping mall nearby where we could shop and eat, and the Christmas lights were beautiful.

Room is clean, got some mikimoto sample which is great, experience is also great. Pickup service is available, will highly recommend

I couldn't speak Japanese but I could feel that they are treating every customer seriously. Their greetings and sincere services impressed me. There was a problem with my booking initially, not sure why because I didn't get proper explanation from the hotel and Trip.com, the hotel didn't mention anything however arranged some small surprise when they knew this is an anniversary trip. I tried to upgrade my meal with crab as my wife not quite like beef and fish, they said unavailable so I keep to the original. At the end I got crab, fish and beef that surprises me. I was later received a souvenir from the hotel when they served the dessert. The hotel is busy but I'm not seeing lots of people, may be all of them staying at their rooms. The experience for me was exceptional when I woke up at 6am witness the beautiful sunrise right outside the huge window, and saw an eagle passing by my camera when trying to capture that moment. Later on when I take the free shuttle bus ride to the nearby train station, I saw an eagle again came down and climbed up outside the station. Not sure it means anything, but definitely this is a very spiritual journey for me.

I really like the Comfort Inn series! Convenient location, comfortable rooms, free accommodation for children! Free breakfast too! Self-driving parking is also very convenient! The miso soup for breakfast is worth a try 👍🏻👍🏻 It's delicious!

The hotel is well-known in the Xiongqin Hot Spring area. There was only the last one left when booking. It was not disappointing. The environment is typical Japanese style, comfortable and beautiful. The hot springs are very, very comfortable. It is really great for people who walk 20,000 steps a day. ❤️ There is a shuttle bus to the hotel. You can contact it by phone at Xiongqin Hot Spring Station. It only took about 10 minutes to wait. Thank you👍🏻 The dinner for one stay and two meals is super delicious. Stayed for 2 nights plus 2 nights, a total of 4 nights; the hotel is very conveniently located near the railway station, opposite the bus station, and it takes 2 minutes to walk from the door to the bus station; there is a convenience store downstairs, and there is a police station and McDonald's opposite; there are also restaurants nearby, and Yoshinoya is at the back; go to the other side of the railway station exit, there is a large AEON, and it takes 5 minutes to walk... The room is large enough for one person and very clean. There is a washing machine for 300 yen per wash and a dryer for 100 yen for 30 minutes. There is also a small bathing area that can accommodate about 3 people. The breakfast options are not very many, but there are basic salads, hot food, soup, bread, and drinks. The food is very good. Overall, I am satisfied.

🇯🇵Taiko Onsen Hamokozuki Ryokan in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture. This is a hotel with only eight rooms in a guest room design with a high-end open-air hot spring bath. It is highly recommended. Dinner is a kaiseki course made with seasonal ingredients. A kaiseki course made with local ingredients such as sea urchin okra, carp sushi, Nagahama's specialty grilled mackerel, and Omi beef shabu-shabu hotpot. This hotel was booked on short notice. Since I was out by car, parking was free, which was nice. The room was spacious, renovated and very clean. Good cost performance! It's near the station.

It was located nearby on foot from the station. However, there are no restaurants around, so you have to go to the other side of the station. There was one convenience store nearby. The room was compact, but it was enough to spread the suitcase. It was a little disappointing that breakfast ended at 9 o'clock.

The hotel is a ten-minute drive from Kentian Station. There is no pick-up and drop-off service. There are fewer buses to 500 meters near the hotel. It is recommended to rent to go, plus the toll of the Wuhu Bridge is about RMB 100. There are no commercial and scenic spots around. You can go to Fuyutang and Sagawa Art Museum at noon. The check-in staff are warm and thoughtful, and the service is very good in every link.
