Hotels With Breakfast in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

Situated in the heart of Port Island, this hotel boasts fantastic views from its upper levels. It's conveniently located right next to the International Convention Center. Public transportation is a breeze with easy access to the light rail, and it's also very close to Kobe Airport. For travel to/from Kansai, the high-speed ferry provides the most convenient option. There's even a convenience store available within the building. The rooms are notably spacious, and the lobby feels quite luxurious. Despite being an older property, all the facilities and equipment are exceptionally well-maintained.

The hotel is in a great location, and the room I booked was quite spacious with a nice wide bed. It's good that they have a laundry room, but with only three washer-dryers, the wait times can be quite long during busy periods. One day, I missed the 10 AM deadline for putting out the 'Please Clean Room' sign by just ten minutes, and unfortunately, my room wasn't cleaned that day. While I understand rules are there for a reason, a little more flexibility in service would be appreciated. Also, ice machines are only available on two floors, which is a slight inconvenience. The restaurant on the hotel's second floor was excellent. I had dinner there, and the dishes were all very well-prepared. I just realized I didn't take any photos of the hotel, so I'll share a couple of pictures of Kobe instead.

The connecting rooms were excellent – spacious and immaculately clean. We stayed for two nights. Despite its proximity to Sannomiya Station, the soundproofing was superb, making it a surprisingly quiet semi-self-service hotel. The location is prime, offering incredibly convenient access to transport. For a trip to Mount Rokko, purchasing the Hankyu One-Day Pass is highly recommended and a fantastic value. Heading back to Osaka's Kansai Airport by direct bus is also extremely convenient and something I'd definitely suggest.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay while in Kobe. It is just next to Kobe Harborland and Kobe Port Tower. The room we had comes with a private balcony offering a spectacular view of the harbour. The room is clean, comfortable and has full amenities. The hotel provides bus shuttle service to and from Sannomiya Station. There is also a Family Mart located at the lobby where you can buy snacks, drinks and other additional amenities. Hotel is also walking distance from a Starbucks which opens at 7:30am should you need to get your coffee and the famous BE KOBE sign. Highly recommended.

I particularly enjoyed the outdoor onsen complex; it felt exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the wide selection of toiletries, opting for the POLA brand myself. The entire facility was spotless, and soaking in the baths was incredibly relaxing. They even provided complimentary cold drinks, massage chairs, and Yakult. This hotel attracts many Japanese guests, which speaks to its quality. The location is also excellent, not far from Motomachi Station and conveniently situated right by the Nankinmachi (Chinatown) entrance. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. Oh, and a special mention for the late-night noodles – they were genuinely delicious! My son even managed to eat two bowls in one sitting, which is high praise indeed! 😂

Within walking distance of the train station and the castle, rooms are quite small, but higher floor have views on the castle (see pic attached from the 6th floor)

The location of the hotel is great, surrounded by convenience stores (a 24hrs Donki is at the opposite of the hotel, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven along the streets) & affordable restaurants. The train stations for four lines and also the transit bus to Kansai Airport is only an 8-10 mins walk away, granting easy access not only to varies tourist sites in Kobe, but also to Osaka and the airport. The room is not spacious but we have enough room to spread out 1-2 luggages (hotel rooms in Japan are typically very small), the double bed is comfy and big. The room is soundproofed, we knew there were children and families staying on our floor but we only heard them once from the hallway, the room enable us to get a good night's sleep in such a busy area. The public area and room are clean, staff clean the room every 3 days, but you can also request room cleaning service every day by telling the reception. I personally enjoy the shower very much, the water flow is strong, and the rainfall shower did an excellent job to wash our tiredness away. Shampoo, conditioner & shower gel is provided, other disposable toiletries are available on the lobby floor. There are 3 washing machines (wash & dry) for all guests on the 2/F?? which can be paid by coins, the laundry room is usually fully occupied and it is better to avoid after-dinner hours, it would be perfect if every room has its own washing machines like other hotels. During our stay (which is the hottest time in summer), the hotel thoughtfully provided ice-cream soda for guests at their cafe every night after 8PM, that is a suitable place where you can get refreshed and chit-chat after a long day. Overall, we appreciate the professional service of hotel staffs and enjoy our stay at the hotel, we would recommend The Royal Park Canvas to those are looking for an affordable, quality hotel with convenient location.

Great that the hotel has shuttle bus service from Sannoymiya station, and the service is fantastic. It was hassle free and easy to get to the hotel. Other services were great as well, however, the laundry service was less than great. There are not enough washing machines for the size of the hotel, and many guests are always queuing for the washing machine. Also, the bell captain is inconsistent with the way of managing the laundry queue. Sometimes, there is a waiting list for guests to register on, while other times, there is a need to wait in person for the key to be available.

An excellent choice for visiting Awaji Island. The rooms are spacious with great views. The hotel's buffet offers a wide selection and is very reasonably priced. What impressed me most was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, who were genuinely accommodating and went out of their way to assist. I will definitely stay there again.

Spaces and clean room. What I didn't like is the lightingFront dest staff was friendly and helpful. Just one of the male staff not friendly and welcoming. There is a ¥1000 parking fee from per stay. There is a train station and a shopping mall next to the hotel. Overall good and comfy stay.
