Called the hotel to confirm there were enough parking spaces before making room reservation. The telephone assistant was very helpful. Room was.spacious, clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay. Front desk was friendly and polite. Breakfast was good, but could be better if they provided fried eggs and baked mushrooms as options on top of scrambled eggs and steamed mushrooms.

So a group of us stayed here on Saturday, whilst upon arrival the hotel and grounds looked stunning, we were greated on reception and told one of our rooms were ready. This was fine as we were early, it was a 5 minute walk to the toilet, and the guys ended up getting lost, the rooms are a 10/15 minute walk away from the main check in; and it’s like walking through a hospital corridor to get to them. The rooms are very basic still with draw string lights, the water station was around a 3/4 minute walk from our room and no bottled water was in the room. At 3.30am we were awoken by a member of staff knocking and posting a note through our door to say there was going to be a power outage from 9am onwards, we were not able to shower as the room was pitch black and no water was coming out the shower.
On a lighter note the breakfast was lovely!

Hotel yang bagus dekat dengan Heathrow. Tempat parkir mobil yang luas, tetapi biayanya agak mahal, £16 per malam. Namun, harga kamar yang rendah sedikit mengimbanginya.
Kamar-kamarnya besar, dengan semua fasilitas yang biasa, dan dilayani setiap hari.
Bonusnya adalah sarapan gratis, yang sangat disambut baik, dan sedikit mengejutkan karena harga kamarnya sangat kompetitif.
Juga restoran yang layak, dengan harga yang wajar.
Secara keseluruhan, Hotel berkualitas baik, dengan harga yang sangat wajar, di lokasi yang bagus.

The hotel give us more facilities ( Gym, swimming pool ) for our enjoy. My children & friend have very love the swimming pool , it is very cleanliness, the room is big and comfortable.
The customer service staff at front desk are very wiling to help customers. The thing that are a bit worse is that the swimming pool does not provide free towels for guests using and the coridor is a bit creepy. Hope will be imporve this request in the future and thank you.

It was ok. The location is great and that’s what you are paying for really. Right across from Windsor castle. The information says it’s been updated. It has not. The paper on our ceiling was coming down, the bath tub surround was molding, the shower head was not even a shower head but maybe circa 1969’s spout. There was some sort of grease or dirt on the tile below the sink. I wiped it up so the next person would not have to see it as clearly housekeeping did not. The water was hot though so there’s that. The linens were clean. It was good enough for a night I guess.

The Hotel was very oldy worldy, Lovely, with lots of history. The location was beautiful and quiet an ideal spot for the wedding we attended, the old barn part of the pub was lovely for the wedding, ideal. Now the pub, food was nice in the pub although my potatoes delivered with my meal were that late that id eaten half my dinner before they came out. Staff were very accommodating and removed the additional cost of £6 for potatoes from the Bill. The Hotel sections of the establishment is now in need of a freshen up, lick of paint. For a building built in A.D 1147 i suppose you would expect it but there is maintenance needed. Cleanliness was ok but needed hoovering around the bed posts a bit closer and a few cob webs removed from the room ceiling. Other than that it was a lovely stay, couldn't thought the staff and the surrounding area, lovely walks along the Thames.

TTamuMenginap semalam di hotel ini untuk liburan singkat ke Kastil Windsor bersama 2 teman. Lokasinya tidak di pusat kota, tetapi tidak sulit dijangkau. Kami berjalan kaki sekitar 30 menit untuk sampai ke hotel dan 30 menit lagi ke Kastil, yang merupakan area yang sangat cantik. Kamarnya sendiri SANGAT bagus, tempat tidur besar yang nyaman, TV yang bagus (meskipun kami lupa Firestick dan sepertinya bukan TV pintar), teh/kopi dan ketel disediakan, kamar mandi bersih meskipun air panasnya agak sulit dinyalakan. Secara keseluruhan, kami sangat menyukai hotel ini, kecuali anak-anak tetangga sebelah kami yang berisik dan sangat sulit tidur. Mungkin karena kamar kami memiliki pintu penghubung (yang terkunci), tetapi kami bisa mendengar orang tua mengobrol sekitar tengah malam dan anak-anak terbangun berteriak pukul 5 pagi! Jadi, kami tidak bisa tidur nyenyak. Saya pikir jika kami mendapatkan kamar lain tanpa pintu penghubung, akan lebih baik. Stafnya sangat ramah, tapi ketika kami memberi tahu keesokan harinya, dia bilang mereka akan mengganti kamar untuk kami, tetapi tidak ada gunanya mengganti kamar jam 5 pagi karena kami check-out jam 10 pagi. Saya juga lupa sikat gigi, dan mereka memberi saya perlengkapan sikat gigi kecil yang lucu berisi sikat gigi dan pasta gigi! Saya merekomendasikan untuk menginap di sini, tetapi tanyakan apakah kamar Anda memiliki pintu penghubung karena Anda mungkin ingin menghindarinya.

OOllieSFirst receptionist we dealt with was really nice but then she had to ask a colleague for help with our check in and she was extremely rude. Having booked an executive room, we were told we didnt get access to the executive lounge as hadn't booked direct. Load of rubbish. Went to our room, quick call to Hilton Customer Care and they confirmed we did have executive lounge access so went back to reception.
The hotel is really comfortable, big spacious rooms, nice beds, bathrooms with shower and bath. Water wasn't free even in executive rooms which was a bit of a shock (£2.50 a bottle).
Executive lounge was nice but service much cut back from last time I stayed at few years ago. Fridges empty most of the day, snacks not topped up. Dirty cups everywhere etc. Evening snacks was good but again, reduced compared to what they used to offer. Spirits and prosecco was a nice touch though.
Breakfast served in the restaurant for executive room guests. Really nice selection, mostly buffet but eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Nice coffee.
Staff on the whole are really friendly and welcoming (apart from the receptionist on day one). We had 3 nights here and enjoyed it.
There is a shuttle bus from terminal 5 to the hotel door which is £6.80 per person or you can take bus number 5 which stops on the road outside the hotel for £1.50. If staying more than one night, there is buses to Windsor, legoland, Slough and hounslow (for the tube to central london).

TTamuWe normally stay at the Hilton but I checked other hotels and found the holiday inn on trip. I can honestly say that the Hilton hotel in reading is not a patch on the holiday inn. The holiday inn is cleaner, the rooms are better and the breakfast was great, with lots of choice. Not forgetting the staff, they were polite and very welcoming.

TTamuThe hotel very close to slough market, also it is 5km from windsor market i went there on foot, if you enjoy natural views and rivers there are many places to enjoy, the rooms in the hotel are clean and they provide all that hotels should prived, but the should put good isolating window to keep the noise from the outside unheard, also they should lower the floor of the toilets to prevent the water pooring into the room at shower time. Despite the room of improvements i mentioned earlier i enjoyed my stay with them and i will visit them again.
