The Campanile hotel is an excellent place to stay while visiting Xining, the hotel is located within walking distance from the railway station. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the buffet breakfast offers excellent choices to start you day, the staff is very friendly and hospitable, I would recommend staying here whenever you are in Xining.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional conduct of two male front desk staff members I encountered during my recent stay at this hotel. I approached the front desk to inquire about to extend my stay. The two staff members I interacted with were both rude and dismissive, speaking to me without making eye contact and answering in a very loud voice. Their behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I understand that front desk staff members are often busy, but there is no excuse for treating guests with disrespect. I would appreciate it if you would address this matter with the staff members in question and ensure that all your employees are trained to provide excellent customer service. I hope that my experience will be addressed and that future guests will not encounter the same issues.

The hotel is in a good location, with a bus stop downstairs Facilities: The room is not big, it is OK for one person, but it is crowded for two people. The facilities are quite complete, with an accelerator and a refrigerator. Hygiene: When I entered the room, the chair 💺 was on the bed, I don’t know what this means. Decent hotel in walking distance to Xining train station, shops and restaurants around. I had a quiet room facing the sports field of a school. Staff does not speak English, but is very helpful. Rooms are nicely renovated. Breakfast is rather Chinese, no bread, cereals or coffee.

The room itself in the hotel was amazing and especially considering the price we paid. 10/10. There is a small convenience store next door at the bottom, which makes it easy to get essentials. There is a man, I didn't get his name. He was on night shifts at the front desk with glasses and was by far the most helpful hotel receptionist I've ever met. These things make me look back very fondly on my stay at Sanyu.

We arrived early from an overnight train and they checked us in upon arrival. Location is walking distance to train station with lots of food options nearby.

It should be a newly opened All Seasons. In terms of hardware, it has maintained the standard of All Seasons. The service is also worthy of praise. Things are negotiable and not dogmatic! It is very close to Xining Station and can be reached on foot. It is a very good choice for someone who travels frequently.

The location of the Boli Yabu Hotel is very convenient. There are a lot of shops around. Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome from the receptionist Xiao Yang. She helped us with the check-in and showed us the room. We also got a free upgrade to room with a nice view. The room was very clean and comfortable. We got a free welcome snack and some fruits. We would definitely recommend the hotel and book it again when returning to Xining.

The room is large and clean, with complete facilities. The laundry room and gym are open 24 hours a day, which is very convenient. The front desk staff provided good service. I would especially like to praise Ms. Zhao Yuting at the front desk. There were some minor incidents when we checked in, and Zhao Yuting solved the problem for us quickly and enthusiastically. This made our stay very satisfying.

Service, amenities and room toiletries is of premium quality except the central aircon is not switched on so the room temperature is at 25°C cannot be adjusted much lower, only can switch to fan full blast but not cold. When I lodge a complaint, the staff says they don't switch the central aircon for month of May but advise to just open the window as it gets cold in the evening. The cold air do come in through the window to keep the room cool.They will switch on the central aircon in month of June and July when it's very hot. Overall I love this hotel as it's next to the railway station and many local street food around the hotel. Highly recommended!

The on-site restaurant served a wide variety of delicious local and international cuisines. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, offering a generous selection of dishes to satisfy all tastes. I also enjoyed dining at the hotel's bar. One highlight of my stay was the attentiveness and genuine care shown by the hotel staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay.

I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

I just happened to pass by this hotel, then checked it out on Ctrip. The price was not high so I decided to book it. The newly opened hotel was beyond my expectation. First of all, there is free parking. The hotel staff provided caring instructions on parking. This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.
