After careful consideration, we decided to book Baiyun Hotel because of the convenient location to the various spots of sunrise and sunset. We were lucky enough to start our day early and therefore arrived earlier than check-in times. The staff was kind enough to let us into the room at that time and Ms. SONG was the loveliest, as she was constantly taking care of us, including sending us messages through WeChat regarding sunset/sunrise times, suggestions, tips, amenities and shows. (The hotel even had a performance later in the evening). Regarding the rooms, they were quite nice, the hotel even provided thick jackets so that we can be warmer during those early morning trips. What stood out for us was that the bathroom included a Japanese toilet and very nice body lotion. One thing that could be said, is that they were slightly pushy about providing a 5-star review, which they do deserve.

Perfect stay in this amazing mountain. The hotel is well located. Staff is really available to make the stay comfortable. Hotel has all services you need, you forget that you are on the top of a mountain with no access by road. Good job to all people who carry all the stuff on their strong shoulders ! Room was clean, very confortable bed. On the morning the hotel organize a sunrise tour and you have a special jacket in your room as it is quite cold in the morning. The food is great with plenty of delicious choices. I highly recommend.

Just simply the best place to stay in Hefei. Rooms are nice and clean. Location is simply perfect! And overall the hotel offers a great value for the price. I especially like the pool. It is just nice to relax there.

First of all, fairly easy to get to, and the manager will direct you on the routes to take. The day was sunny and we went about to West Canyon. This is a must see and fun. The rest is pedestrian. We went to see the sunset with the hotel. Not much happened. It rained in the morning, so no sunrise tour. However, after the rain was the mist, giving credit to its fame.

Microtel by Wyndham was exceptional. Very clean and spacious, perfect for relaxation before or after expedition to huangshan. Would recommend all our friends to stay here when coming to this area!

I had a great time staying at this hotel! The rooms were very clean, and everything was well-organized. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from my window, which made my mornings so much better. The hostel also had a lovely garden where I could relax after a day of sightseeing. It was conveniently located near a major transit station, making it easy to get around the city. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I enjoyed cooking my own meals there. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers!

The room was tastefully appointed with modern amenities, including a water boiler and a secure deposit box. My stay was exceptionally delightful. The capacious and exquisitely cozy bed, harmoniously combined with the room's color palette and decor, established an aesthetically pleasing ambiance. 4. The buffet offerings were a feast of opulence and indulgence. We savored the extensive array of dishes. Additionally, the executive Club lounge on the 24th floor presented an opulent buffet dinner alongside an array of delightful beverages. The buffet breakfast on the first floor consistently maintained a high standard. The buffets presented were resplendent, featuring a plethora of options for us to relish. 5. The reception staff warrants special recognition, embodying not only friendliness but also impressive efficiency and accommodation. In particular, Ms. He (何小姐）, from the Service Center, exuded a warm and welcoming demeanor. I was elated when my modest request for a late check-out was graciously fulfilled. Such a positive service attitude is undeniably commendable. My sole regret is that my stay at the Intercontinental Hotel was confined to a single day. The next time I have the opportunity to visit Hefei, I will assuredly opt for the InterContinental Hotel once more!

Although the price is definitely a little high, it makes sense for a hotel situated on top of a mountain. The public areas were bright and spotless. The room I booked was comfortable and mostly clean. The bathroom did have bits of black on the ceiling. Can’t beat the location though, as it’s close to a great spot to watch the sunset/sunrise. Appreciate especially the helpful service and timely communication from Kai at the front desk, who was also kind enough to share his photography of the night sky. I was able to get a few cool shots at a scenic outlook he had recommended. Maybe because I went a little late, but the dinner buffet was pretty mediocre. Overall a very good stay. Would book again, but maybe choose other food options.

Great service at the hotel and very cheap fpr the quality. It’s also very close (walking distance) to the bus station for the South Entrance to the mountain. Unless you stay on the mountain itself I would assume this is the best hotel. We stayed in January. The ”hot springs” are great after a day on the mountain. The bigger outside pool was not in use, as would be expected.

The hotel offers pick up and drop off service, one time each to and from the bottom of Huangshan and the hotel, got to contact the hotel and book a slot before hand. The front desk service was excellent. Was well introduced to the hotel amenities and staff offered advice on hiking routes. A wooden hiking stick was offered f.o.c. Great location near the yugu cable car entrance, 5 min walk away. The restaurant offers a wide variety of local Chinese food. The serving size and price is way better than that of Tangkou village. The room is true to the pictures, no cold air conditioning but the room was cooled from the external cold weather. Things are new and clean, though mould spots could be seen on the wall. Free bottled water provided. Hot (plain water) springs available at no extra charge for guests. Swimsuits can be bought on the spot, women's for 100yuan, men's for 50 yuan, if design is not a matter. The dining and hotspring service time was not an issue to us. The hotel also offered pick up service from Hotspring bus station if guests took the yuping cable car down. Had a great time staying in this hotel. Lived up to the price, as compared to older and pricey hotels further up the mountain.

Such a lovely trip! Highly recommend this hotel for visiting Huangshan, they provide all the kits you need for a hike including rain coat and hiking stick. We also had a nice upgrade for the room which was offered for free. We came from the UK and glad that we stayed here, the staff are all super nice and hospitable! Hotel service is very good. Front desk staff, especially Chloe, is very helpful. We requested for non-smoking room and they explained there’s no non-smoking floor in the hotel but they can clean up the rooms off smoke scent before handing to us. On checkin, they personally showed us to our room and asked that we inspect it before accepting. No request is too small. When we told them the room felt cold, they sent someone to help adjust the heater for us. We had a great stay!

My partner and I spent three wonderful days here and we would come back in an instant. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at, and the staff is incredibly helpful. We had a huge terrace overlooking the fields, where we could just relax after some hectic days in Shanghai. The location is perfect, just outside the nearby town, but still close enough if you need anything. The hotels offers you a drop off to the main entrance of the Huangshan scenic area, which only takes about 10 minutes, so that you can be there early in the morning. When you visit the mountains, be sure not to miss out on the Western sea grand valley, it has less visitors and views are amazing. On our other day we visited nearby village Bishan, which was great, a cute little village with some artsy little cafes, eateries and shops. You can easily take a didi there. Every evening we had our meals at the hotel, which were delicious, and the breakfast was also outstanding, having both some local and western treats. We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. This is the third time I have come to Huangshan in 20 years. This is a slightly regretful trip, mainly because I didn't encounter heavy snow and sea of ​​clouds. Pushing open the quaint wooden door to the yard, walking into the rest area converted from the temple, the puppy Beibei couldn't wait to rush to greet me. It is quiet everywhere, surrounded by fragrance, and a scene at every step, which is very pleasant. Take the elevator from the sixth-floor lobby to the second floor, and then take the exclusive elevator of Huaying to the room on the first floor. To be fair, the room is not big, but the view is invincible, and the large terrace has a 180° open view. The whole house is not cold at all, and the afternoon tea is also very special. The breakfast is a set meal, beautiful and exquisite, and sufficient. The only downside is that the noodles feel like they have been soaked in the soup for too long, and the texture is soft and tasteless. The housekeepers are very enthusiastic and always greet each other with a smile. If you have any needs, you can get the service in place with a WeChat message. However, it is recommended to add a device for up and down calls to Huaying's exclusive elevator, otherwise the housekeeper will ring the doorbell upstairs and the downstairs will not be able to respond whether it is suitable for door-to-door service. Shilin Cliff House is located in the Beihai Lion Grove Scenic Area. It takes about ten minutes to get to Monkey Viewing the Sea, which is suitable for watching the sunrise. Then there is Shixin Peak, which is more than 20 minutes on foot. It is not close to Yuping, Guangmingding, etc. Here, you can watch the sunset while eating dinner, lie on the bed to watch the stars, and soak in the bathtub to enjoy the mountain view... It is suitable for travelers who want to lie down and relax instead of walking all over Huangshan. Here, I realized my wish to sit on the bed and take pictures of the nebula, but the sudden thick clouds at four o'clock made the ending a little unsatisfactory. Just one night, I left in a hurry. I planned to bring my children to climb Huangshan Mountain during the winter vacation. The hotel has very good location which is close to the metro line 1 and line 2. Our room was on the 23rd floor, it's clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and the breakfast starts at 6:30am, has a wide range of choices and very handy for elderly people. The hotel building also has restaurants, cafes and beauty salon in it.

The SSAW hotel in Hefei is my number one destination. I love everything about this place from the staff at the reception when I arrive to the confort of my room to the location of the place. I always have my breakfast at the hotel. I am very traditional with my choices but the restaurant offers a variety of food. Thank you again for a great stay Annie Clouâtre

Good location. The hotel was very clean and the staff was outstanding helping with a few things and even having a staff member guide to a COVID testing place followed up by another gentleman who made sure I got there. Incredible staff. Will stay there again for sure. My apologies as I didn't write down the names of the staff. Wish I could remember as they deserve the recognition for going above and beyond.

It was warm! I will stay with my friends next time if I have the chance!
