Overall nice, historical hotel with, great location to explore Tianjin. However during our stay there were some drawbacks: - The rooms to the rear of the old part of the building are really noisy, even though the windows and doors have been replaced with modern ones. It's not understandable to me why a five star hotel replaces windows and balcony doors with insufficient ones if they decide to do so. - We wanted to use the pool/wellness area, which was closed due to ”technical issues”. No further explanation, compensation etc. was given and this has not been communicated during the booking or elsewhere. - We showed up at 10:30 sharp for breakfast (which was until 10:30 at least) and were sent away since ”there's nothing left”. Also, no compensation was offered except for some cheap fridge magnet from the hotel's museum. Overall, value for money is questionable (1600 RMB for one night). Next time I will choose a hotel of an established international chain, such as Shangri-La.

This time, the experience at Tianjin Dongli View Hotel was simply amazing! I must praise their housekeeper service. From the moment I checked in, the housekeeper has been following up attentively. Whether it is asking about surrounding attractions or needing additional daily necessities, sending a WeChat message, the housekeeper can always respond quickly and help solve the problem. The efficiency is super high, and the attitude is friendly, which makes people feel particularly warm. The conditions of the hotel itself are also very good. The room is spacious and bright, the decoration is elegant, and the layout is very attentive. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and I slept very well at night. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and all kinds of toiletries are available, and the quality is also good. The hotel's supporting facilities are rich and diverse. The water quality of the indoor swimming pool is clear, and it is very enjoyable to swim; the gym equipment is brand new and complete, which meets my daily exercise needs. The restaurant provides a wide variety of meals, and the taste is also great. There are many breakfast choices, which start a day full of vitality. The geographical location is even more amazing. The surrounding transportation is convenient, whether it is traveling or shopping, it is very convenient. There are also many attractions nearby, and it is easy and comfortable to play. I really can't find fault with this stay. Next time I come to Tianjin, I will definitely choose here!

We decided to travel before the Qingming Festival. Many hotels in the suburbs were fully booked, so we booked here for two days. Four adults and one baby, we booked a king-size bed room and a standard room. After checking in, we found that the room where the baby stayed was very cold. We contacted the front desk with a try-it attitude. The front desk manager was very patient and thoughtful. He upgraded the baby to a suite and had a lot of fun. The playground is very large, but the only thing is that there is no heating, the ground is cold, and it is a bit uncomfortable to stay for a long time.
