"Very disappointed in description versus reality. No WiFi in rooms, paid extra for breakfasts, but found out they were for continental breakdasts which are complimentary anyway. Meals were not value for money. Very ho hum. No waiter service, it was scan Qr code for menu, order and payment. White ants on the kitchenette bar in our room. Conditioner on wall in shower had been used up and filled with water. Location was great."

"The apartments are modern, clean and very spacious. I stayed in a 2 bedroom and single bedroom apartment - and found them to be very comfortable and well equipped. The pool area was really nice. There is no restaurant, however there is a great cafe in the caravan park across the road, as well as a restaurant in the hotel next door. It is also only a 2 minute drive into town. It is close to the airport and town and is opposite a lovely park. I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Kununurra."

"The Cambridge is perfectly situated in Kununurra however their extensive renovations are still work in progress. Once completed (and being in such a remote area where it must be so difficult to bring in skilled labour & building material ), the property will be a fantastic asset to the town. We stayed in a renovated room which was large and very comfortable. The service provided by reception and in the temporary dining area was very good and friendly. Note that housekeeping is not provided daily but on a request basis but that wasn't a problem as our stay was 3 nights."

The beds were comfortable and the room was supplied with everything you needed. They had a kitchen for the guests to use which was fully equipped. Right in the middle of Kununurra "

"There seemed to be many people who enjoyed their time at Lake Kununurra but unfortunately, we weren’t one of them. Firstly, we learnt that booking months before didn’t guarantee a great site. If you intend to stay a few days here, be very specific about the site you want. There are beautiful lake view sites here. Ask for them. Shady too. Our site had a toilet block as our neighbouring site and management were unable to move us when we complained before we set up. As a consequence of the constant noise from the toilet block including washing machines used all day, screaming kids in showers etc, we cut our visit short and stayed only four nights while leaving our van on site and booking accommodation at El Questro where most of the beautiful scenery is anyway. Management later reimbursed us most of our money which we were grateful for. I just wished they’d moved us in the first place. To be honest, this park was one of the only places where we had zero tv reception or adequate internet to stream so that in itself is a deal breaker for me. The Olympics were on and we had to drive into town to message our kids. We enjoyed the Ord River Cruise from this park but other than that, it was a disappointing place to stay."

"With a family spread over long Australian distances we ended up meeting at the Lily Lagoon Resort in Kununurra for a few days of exploring, fishing and just good times. The Lily Lagoon Resort was the perfect spot, elegant and very well run and presented, yet casual enough to be comfortable. The staff is welcoming, the place is well kept and a pleasure to walk around, the restaurant is excellent for breakfast, lunch snacks and delicious dinner. Will I be back? Definitely our stay of choice in Kununurra!"

"Stayed her two nights with a photography group. The place -and the people - are spectacular! Service could not have been more accommodating. The girl sin the front office are genuinely warm and go out other way to ensure you have a good stay. Special thanks to Issac who volunteered to help with my bags. The apartment includes everything you would want. There are two tv's, multiple air conditioners, comfortable lounge and dining area and very comfortable bed. I stayed in B-!, which I recommend, Your are a thirty second walk to the modern laundry (which is free - they even include a few packages of soap in your kitchen,). and the very attractive pool is right next door to that. Note that there are no meals . You can walk to several places for breakfast and lunch. Due to staff shortages most places nearby stop serving lunch at 1:00 PM. If you need a taxi (and you will) call Howie on 0408 168 938. He's someone who keep-his-Shia word.If he says he'll be there, you can count on it."

"This is undoubtedly one of the best motel accommodations we have stayed in, since we began our drive north, setting out from Melbourne on July 2nd 2024. Our aim is to travel around Australia, booking many overnight and longer stays. Our main criterion is “pet friendly”. Lisa, in particular, went out of her way to make our overnight stay an absolute joy. I highly recommend the Kimberly Croc Motel if you are travelling with your dogs as she was extremely welcoming and made us feel at ease with our dogs."

"We stayed in a standard cabin for 4 nights. The cabin was near the lake’s edge, which was great. Although we had campers & campervans directly behind the bedroom window, which meant you could hear conversations word for word. Staff were great & site is near the Kununurra lakeside trail. Cabin was very average though. Superficially clean, with grubby finger marks on doors & cupboards. Ceiling cobwebs, peeling paint, dirty lounge, tissues shoved in ceiling fan base. It just generally felt not very clean. Needs some TLC to freshen up & decent clean in between guests."
