Best ever decision to book in this hotel after reading many positive reviews. Situated with the tourist attraction area itself with beautiful window view of the Douro river and Luis Bridge. We walked to all the places of interest and even walked across Luis bridge to Gaia. So impressed by the convenient location of this hotel that is closed to all public transport. Even though with all the restaurants and shops below our room, surprising it was very quiet after like 9pm and we had a comfortable sleep. Many thanks to Diego who checked us in and allowed us to leave our bags to be picked up later. Photos below were taken from our room window. Will of course recommend friends or family to book this hotel

Location is a bit far from centre , but due to Meteo just in front of the hotel , it saves the time walk from the metro to the hotel ( normally at least take 20 minutes) The breakfast is very nice, has everything you want , lots of cheese , ham , eggs, veggies, breads , cereals , fresh and canned fruits , packed cakes and crackers , fresh cakes and croissants, etc ……… The coffee is excellent and wine too for breakfast!!!!!

Short break getaway! Great location, Lovely room comfortable bed had a great night sleep . , I fully enjoyed the health spa. Swim sauna and steam room. Check out the Santana restaurant Buffet lunch all home made food , delicious ! Overall it was a lovely stay, a peaceful retreat just what I needed from the hustle and bustle ( Lobdon ) from the city life .

The reception was not very friendly at first and we were informed that we can't actually check in anymore. Check in is possible according to the reception until 17:00. According to Trip.com until 21:00. We travel at 19:00. The receptionist on the day of our departure was very friendly and gave us a patch on demand. Unfortunately he didn't know anything about the fact that pilgrims who are on the way to Santiago are exempt from the tourist tax. The location is beautifully green and quiet. The air on the hill is very clear. The rooms are very good and modernised.

Good hotel, nit fancy but very good, with big rooms in front of the sea and very good food at breakfast. Unfortunately the the swimming pool was dirty with yellow water, and the gym looked small and abandoned...

A five-star hotel, with lots of swimming pools and a beautiful scenery! The Atlantic Ocean is behind this hotel! It's 10 minutes' walk away. It was a pity that I was busy with work and had no chance to swim!

Atendimento simpático e acolhedor. Instalações muito bem estruturadas, com informação bastante clara. Piscina e SPA adoramos. O pequeno almoço excelente. Não temos nada a apontar, tudo estava perfeito. Apenas o acesso à garagem, estava em obras o que dificultava um pouquinho a entrada do carro.
