What a lovely gem of a hotel! I was reluctantly (very reluctantly) persuaded to leave Beijing for the weekend and head for the nesrest beach - Qinhuangdao. The Bullet Train was great fun - we splashed out on first-class tickets and had the first-class cabin all to ourselves. Qinhuangdao was a welcome change of pace from the self-important hussle of Beijing. The bad things first - the weather was terrible and the beach itself is more 1970s Blackpool than present-day Antibes. But the Hampton by Hilton was a delightful surprise. The staff are absolutely delightful. Although they don’t speak English, the use of a few translation apps soon explained to them what we needed and they always did their best to look after us. The rooms are great - we even got a free upgrade to a suite. The breakfast options are many and varied. We were the only Western guests that weekend and the other guests seemed to be Chinese middle-class families. If I had to guess I would say they tended to be from other parts of China as they didn’t seem to be the usual rude impatient Beijingers. It was lovely to see Al the little children having fun with their parents. So, our thanks to the ladies at Reception, the young concierge guys, the housekeepers and the busy breakfast staff. The owners of the this hotel is blessed with great staff. Thank you all so much for looking after us so well.

We very much enjoyed our stay . Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Very convenient location, a stone throw away from the beach. A mall is about 10 minutes away in a taxi. The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!

The sea view was perfect and we, all the family members, loved this apartment hotel. As room for improvement, there was no toilet paper and no English spoken receptionists.

You can see the waves kissing the beach while lying on the bed, and the pink and purple sunset in the evening is as beautiful as a movie scene! 🌅 **✨About sunrise:** I set the alarm clock for 5:30 on purpose, but it was not necessary at all! When the skyline was white, the room was automatically lit up by the morning light. Watching the salted egg yolk-like sun jump out from the sea level, the golden and red light filled the entire room, and even the air became gentle. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared a sunrise schedule, so there is no need to worry about missing the wonderful moment~ **🛁About the bathtub:** This fairy design is amazing! The oversized round bathtub faces the sea view. You can watch the tides while taking a rose bath. You can easily take a photo of it. The thoughtful hotel also prepared bath salts and scented candles. After taking a bath, lying in a soft bathrobe and listening to white noise to fall asleep is so healing! **💯 Bonus details: ** 1️⃣ 270° surround soundproof glass completely isolates the sound of the waves, so people with light sleep can also sleep well 2️⃣ Smart curtains control day and night mode with one button, with full privacy 3️⃣ The Beidaihe specialty soda in the minibar is delicious and film-like 4️⃣ The housekeeper responds online 24 hours a day, and even takeout is delivered to the upstairs by robots From opening your eyes to falling asleep, you are embraced by the sea. This experience is definitely worth the room price! Highly recommended for couples/girlfriends to vacation. I heard that it is more shocking to see the sea view in the snow in winter. I am already looking forward to the second visit! 💙

A very nice service, listening to guest’s need. Fruit plate every afternoon with delicious fruits. I asked and got room changed due to noise and smell from kitchen. Also agreed to checkout 2 hours later than regular checkout time.

I booked this hotel during the Qingming Festival to go to the beach. The reviews said it was good, close to the beach, with complete facilities around, and a shopping mall. The reviews were good. I was not disappointed when I arrived. It was close to the beach, the hotel service was super good, very enthusiastic, very attentive, and very proactive. They gave me a lot of snacks, drinks and toys, and the children were very happy.

The location is great, the night view is incredibly beautiful. But the hotel has very little understanding of privacy of their guests. A hotel personal entered our room without an invite while I was dressing up, another hotel worker took our picture without asking, front desk manager keeps all foreigner passport pictures in her personal phone. Should not hotel provide working phone to its personnels if it’s required to keep personal information from guests on phones?k Also hotel price does not match the service they are providing. The hotel room surfaces was in dust, and they do not clean after each visitor, we found pair of shoes from previous visitors. the room did not provide any drinkable water.

In Northeastern dialect, it refers to a place of dining and accommodation that is frequently visited). Hum! I'm back again! This is a hotel that has a close relationship with Mr. Lu. Time flies, and eleven years have passed in the blink of an eye. [Smile]

Unexpectedly perfect! The room is very comfortable and even has a smart toilet. And the room has a direct view of the sea, the view is amazing! The hotel is only a 3-minute walk from the beach, and on the other side of the hotel is the famous Qinhuang Alley, where you can eat, drink and have fun! Finally, I would like to praise the hotel's service staff, who are very enthusiastic and the experience is simply great

This is the 8th consecutive year that I have stayed at the Beidaihe Hotel for Diplomatic Personnel, and there was no interruption during the epidemic. The garden-style hotel is still full of green, and various hotel supplies have begun to be updated, such as small refrigerators, linens, etc. It is said that the carpets will also be replaced. Although the room rate has increased, the biggest change is that the reservation can be canceled. This has not been the case for many years. The restaurant is clean, the price of food has been reduced, and more and more people are dining. Even the tennis court is used for parking. This is rare in the case of fewer tourists in Beidaihe this year. I will go again next year.

The hotel is about 100 meters away from Beidaihe. Change your swimsuit at the hotel and go directly to the beach. After swimming, you will go back to the hotel to take a shower. It saves the cost of renting a wardrobe to shower at the beach. Rent a wardrobe at the beach for 50 yuan and shower 15 yuan per person. LEGO toys were also sent when checking out, and Xiao Li at the front desk was very warm!

🇸🇦 The hotel is fantastic, great inside and outside pools, playgrounds for kids, and so many fun things to do. I've been to many cities in China & and definitely, this one is considered among the top 10 best hotels I've been to so far. The staff is polite and really helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Jay.Li for his warm welcome and help. It was a good decision to stay at Senzeyuan. I read a lot of guides and they all said that hot spring hotels are too crowded, too humid, and too noisy. In fact, it is true. My child's eyes were inflamed, so I ordered eye drops to be delivered. The shuttle bus brought them to the front desk of the hotel. The service was very considerate, and they also gave me souvenirs before I left. To be honest, the beach experience was crowded and dirty. The water quality was not very good, and there were jellyfish everywhere. I was stung several times. But overall, it was a very happy family trip.
