Llavallee.jpMy brother stayed overnight for a trip to the Cog Railway the next day. The inn was easy to find and the local area was beautiful. We were offered our choice of a room in the main house or in the annex near the river. We chose the latter for the balcony facing the river - the breeze felt great and the sound of the water was relaxing. Everything was clean and in working order and the beds were comfortable. In the morning, they had our breakfast ready for us as soon as the restaurant opened so that we could head out early to the Cog Railway. All in all, a very good stay - would highly recommend!

TTamuWe were greeted by the most wonderful receptionist. She was very efficient and personable. She made us feel very welcome. We went to the bar at night and that's when it all fell apart. The waiter was not friendly at all and was very inefficient. Apparently there was a wedding party in the bar, so it was crowded. People had to wait an extremely long time and he only waited on one side of the bar. He totally ignored the other side. It was very sad to see this kind of service.

TTamuWe stayed at the Inn at Thorn Hill from December 22nd to 24th, and the experience was absolutely magical. Everything was perfect, the beautiful, cozy room, the outstanding food, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The service was exceptional, and the host made us feel truly cared for with genuine hospitality and attention to detail. It was a peaceful, luxurious stay and one we will always remember. Highly recommended, we can’t wait to return.

TTamuThe hotel is newly renovated. Stayed in a King room and was happy with the newness and cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. The reception staffs greeted us with a big smile and were friendly and helpful with my request and enquiry. Also love DoubleTree cookies treats upon checking in.
