Hotel Dengan Bar di Viseu District, Portugal

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. The people at the reception were very nice and our room was clean and comfortable and had a view of the park. The hotel bar was really nice too, I had the best Irish Coffee! We didn't eat in the restaurant for dinner but we had our breakfast there every morning, they had a very nice selection of items. The hotel is in a great location in the city and Viseu is also a very nice city.

The reception team was very professional, all the elements from check in to check out, and in the noise resolution when they swapped me to another room! I liked this hotel and I would return if you needed to return to Viseu in the future.

Accessible, with good views and good service. Excellent buffet breakfast, even considering pandemic restrictions. I was only sorry for not being able to use the jacuzzi/sauna, which were closed due to the pandemic.

Facilities: On a hill, the environment is very good and the equipment is very good Hygienic: very clean Breakfast: very good Service: The front desk is particularly enthusiastic and responsible! Great! Because my car had a problem with google navigation, I took it to a small mountain road. At night, because of the tension and there were trees on one side, the glass on the right front was broken! The front desk helped contact the car rental company and described my situation in Portuguese! Since I had local insurance, the rental company arranged for a trailer to handle it and arranged for a taxi to take us to Porto airport to change!

In the restaurant, the first night we ordered the set dinner tasting menu, it was average. The second night, we ordered from the a la carte menu for the fish and octopus, they are sooooooo good! Thus, I recommend ordering from a la carte. I also love the service in the restaurant, the head chef will take ur orders, and his colleagues will help delivering. The orange juices during breakfast are freshly squeezed from the oranges in the yards, very delicious. The restaurant is likely the best thing in this quinta. I lived in the maker rooms, the rooms are average for its price. The wine tasting is definitely a rip-off, they gave you some recent year cheap wines. I can get similar wine tasting at a similar price in Florence Italy wine region with delicious wines from 1800. I do not recommend doing wine tasting in this quinta. They created some circuits or paths for you to tour around which is nice, but the notations and map are not updated. You may get lost, but you should also be able to figure your way out so no big deal.

The hotel is a 5* hotel quality. From comfort, food, cleaning and service. This is especially for the children of the reception and service in the pool. Super good water and the comfort that is located in the hotel is to be grateful.

Extensive work being carried out meant noise throughout the hotel. Every time we needed reception we had to wait for staff to return. On the plus side, the restaurant staff were excellent.

The hotel environment is very beautiful and worth a visit. It is the first choice for vacation and recommended by friends who travel by car. There is a lake and its own garden next to it. It is very nice to stay there after taking a hot spring bath.

The Hotel reached the expectations it had, as I already knew the development and maintain the quality of service and facilities. Regarding the price, the value presented by Trip was extremely competitive in relation to the other agencies for the same service conditions, and even in relation to the price that would be charged by the Hotel itself in a direct booking (which I cannot understand...). The breakfast provided was of excellent quality and quantity. The service was excellent, with all employees in service at the hotel in these 2 days of friendliness and efficiency far above average. However, I was a little disappointed that the Trip agency had not yet sent me an Invoice for the amount paid. The only certainty that I have that the payment was made, was given to me by the Hotel receptionist who told me that the rooms were paid for, but that he could not issue me an Invoice as the payment had been made to the Agency - which is natural !). In this situation, the lack of an Invoice was very unpleasant because I booked and paid for 3 rooms (for us and 2 other couples friends) and until now I don't have any proof of payment to ”do the math” with them.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre. The coffee is very bad, unforgiving in Portugal and in a establishment of this level.

Very beautiful place right in the mountain and with ample parking. Lots of birds and 10 min walk to the moorish castle. A memorable stay with very friendly host. Highly recommended.

A área da piscina, por exemplo, era visualmente agradável, mas menor do que esperávamos. As fotos promocionais do hotel, infelizmente, não refletiam com precisão o tamanho real da piscina. Embora o espaço seja bem cuidado e confortável, ele pode ficar um pouco apertado em horários de maior movimento, especialmente se o hotel estiver cheio. A piscina interior, no entanto, foi uma surpresa agradável. Havia opções básicas, como pães, frutas e alguns itens quentes, mas uma maior diversidade teria sido bem-vinda. Para estadias curtas, isso não é um grande problema, mas em uma estadia mais prolongada, a falta de opções pode se tornar repetitiva. A localização do hotel é um dos seus pontos mais fortes. Situado em uma zona tranquila, mas de fácil acesso aos principais pontos turísticos da região, o Hotel Vista Mar oferece a combinação perfeita de sossego e conveniência. Além disso, há várias opções de restaurantes e lojas nas proximidades, o que torna a experiência ainda mais agradável para quem gosta de explorar a área sem se afastar muito do hotel.
