Simple budget hotel . First time in visiting this city will try other hotel next time around. The room i reserved was not available and they offered me a lessor sized room it worked out but i did not get the credit as the room i reserved rate was higher

“Exceptional Stay at Summit Hotel Tacloban” We recently stayed at Summit Hotel Tacloban and was impressed with the experience. The room was impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The amenities were superb and added great value to our stay. From the well-maintained facilities to the thoughtful touches, everything was designed with guests’ comfort in mind. Overall, I highly recommend Summit Hotel Tacloban for anyone looking for top-notch service and accommodations in the area. It’s a perfect choice for both leisure and business.

West Prime is one the the newest hotels in Calbayog. Minutes from downtown shopping as well as the airport and the bus terminal. (You really should avoid driving in Calbayog it's chaos) Five stars all around and the Salt & Pepper restaurant is no doubt the finest in the city. A very diverse menu and prepared with perfection and I am a chef so you can trust my experience rather than personal tastes. Free breakfast amounts to a Filipino style standard at the other hotels as well as American are the choses. The cocktails are also expertly made and the service superb We have stayed here twice now and it is our hotel of choice here in Calbayog.

Not sure if other hotels have or do not have hot water for shower. GV Hotel does not, please note. Also the shower is spacious but no seperate cubicle. The whole floor gets wet as you shower, may be a common feature in the tropical cities. Nevertheless, the proximity to SM Mall is the best feature, you can get everything in the Hypermarket and most of the popular food outlets under one roof, just a 2 minute walk opposite the same street. If you want to try the BBQ style, please visit first floor with very reasonable price. see photo here showing the menu.

The place is verygood mostly it is near to everything we need just the amenities is not really great slipper inside because the floor is wet and yet very cold the first room they give to us was the lock of the toilet door was broken but they change our room but the floor is wet i dunno if it's because of the humid or what ( but no slipper given) but over all it was a great experience in there i hope next time is is good.
