Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

This ryokan was amazing, the food the location the atmosphere. The public sento in the building was beautiful and the private tub in our room was amazing as well. Perfect service, great amenities, we even got a little gift! I can only recommend this place if you're looking for something truly special. Get the dinner and breakfast here, trust me!!!

Hotel ini menawarkan nilai uang yang sangat baik. Kamarnya luas, bersih, dan dilengkapi dengan baik, dengan pelayanan yang ramah dari staf lobi. Manajer lobi yang menyambut kami adalah penduduk lokal dari Nara. Awalnya kami berkomunikasi menggunakan perangkat lunak penerjemahan, tetapi kemudian kami mengetahui bahwa dia juga berbicara bahasa Mandarin; rupanya, dia pernah belajar di Shanghai, Tiongkok. Pemuda ini tidak hanya memberikan pelayanan yang antusias tetapi juga merekomendasikan dan memesan tempat duduk di izakaya terdekat untuk kami. Sangat memuaskan! 👍

Lokasi hotel ini sangat dekat dengan Stasiun Yagi, hanya 5 menit berjalan kaki. Ini adalah jenis hotel bisnis yang umum di Jepang. Ukuran kamarnya memang tidak terlalu besar, namun kebersihannya cukup terjaga. Tidak menawarkan kemewahan, hotel ini sangat cocok untuk perjalanan bisnis.

一泊二日3家族８人で利用したがとてもゆったりと利用出来てよかった。トイレも一階と2階の2ヶ所にあり困ることがなく使用できた。2階の4部屋にダブル(キング？)サイズのベッドが2台ずつあり、８人それぞれが贅沢に一台ずつ利用できて最高だった。寝具ぬななも心地よかった。パジャマの記載がなかったが作務衣風のものが用意してあった。ヘアアイロンはリファのものがカール用、ストレート用と 2台もあり嬉しかった。冷蔵庫にはミネラルウォーターが 4本、日本酒1合サイズが2本、同サイズの焼酎？が一本、炭酸ジュース2本あり、茶菓子の用意もあった。８人なのに7個しかお菓子がなかったのは残念だった。コーヒー、紅茶、お茶、砂糖あり。コーヒー用のミルクはない。コーヒーはカセットをセットするタイプのサーバー。他に電子レンジ、オーブントースター、湯沸かし器、炊飯器がある。台所には最低限のキッチンアイテムが揃っている。グラス類がプラスチック製でくもり傷があるのが少し気になった。手拭き用のタオルがあるとよかった。(洗面所にはあり) 台所続きの、リビングにゆったりとしたソファー、大画面のTV、Switchがある。使い捨てスリッパもタオル生地のふわふわ感がありきめちよかった。照明は間接的なものが多く、暗め。2階の各部屋にゴミ箱が欲しかった。浴室はサウナや水風呂専用の浴槽もあり、整うためのロッキングチェアも2台ある。シャワーも大浴場に二箇所、洗濯室のトイレ横にもう一箇所ガラス張りのシャワーブースがある。アメニティも充実している。お風呂で残念だった点が一つ、同時に水道を利用すると水圧が格段に悪くなる。サウナは大人３人が同時に入れる広さ。サウナマットも用意されている。　前日まで電話連絡がとれていたが、当日は全く繋がらず焦った。後で玄関に連絡専用のアイテムが木箱に入っていたが、このシステムはどうなんだろう。。 玄関にビニール傘の用意があったが人数分はなかった。けど、予想外の雨が降り助かった。ならまち界隈や東大寺など観光地にも徒歩圏内で立地は良いと思う。12時に荷物を預けることが出来て助かった。チェックインも同時に出来たら言うことなしでしたが…。電話での対応、清掃の方、みなさんお優しかったです。 総合的には大満足でした。あともう一泊したいくらいでした。
