I recently stayed at the Best Western in Liverpool and had a really good experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, close to the city centre, so it was easy to explore Liverpool’s main attractions. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and overall the hotel felt like great value for money. I’d definitely stay here again.

Hard Days Night Hotel is in the heart of The Beatles area, next to Mathew Street where The Cavern Club is located.
Despite its being weekend, we didn't hear any noise at night from our room on the fifth floor. The bedroom was large and pleasant. (Our room had a picture of George - my favourite Beatle - on the wall, which made me very happy!)
Things some people find remiss are (1) no fridge in the room (at least not in the Classic Double), (2) TV had a very basic remote and fuction, and while it claimed to allow internet access, we couldn't use any app /mirroring from our iPhones; (3) toiletaries were very basic (just liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner refilled); (4) no movable shower with a hose.
Breakfast was truly excellent! It's self-service buffet-type, but all the full-English parts were there and they were all very, very good.
We also went to a bar in the evening and it was also very nice with Beatle-themed cocktails, in addition to usual drinks.
Overall, we would definitely love to come back to this hotel!

A fantastic place to stay! Warm, modern and welcoming. All
The staff are lovely and friendly. Our private en suite room and bathroom was spacious, clean and tidy, the reception area modern and welcoming too. Car parking available if you need it. The staff even made us a pizza at 11pm as we arrived back tired, wet and cold from being at the match.
The best bit was the breakfast, it was amazing and in a separate dinjng area. Full choice of traditional hot English breakfast or continental. Fresh coffee and tea and juices too.

Hotel was a little run down and the rooms were only to be expected for being around 150+ year old hotel, the bathroom was a little updated and pleasant. The lifts were very bad and non responsive, had to walk down the stairs which is not ideal if we had mobility issues, the breakfast was, Well let's just say Avoid!!
Customer service was a little bit patronising to say the least.
All in all probably a 3/10 if being kind.

Really nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a twin cabin room (no others available)basic but comfortable and very clean, warm, TV, complimentary tea and coffee. A phone for room service if required.
The breakfast was a buffet with everything you could possibly want to start you off for the day.
We had a meal in the restaurant Friday evening which was really lovely with again great staff.
Hotel is close to Liverpool lime street train station.
Though it didn't upset our stay there was a party Friday and Saturday night that was very loud and went on till 1am
It would have been nice to have been given this information.

Great stay at the Knowsley. The staff were friendly and there is parking which is a bonus. The rooms were generally clean but the dining area could have been cleaner - some crockery needed re-cleaning. The fire alarm went off mid way through the night but was quickly dealt with. The breakfast was OK - a good selection of food but the ingredients were of low quality and quite greasy. I'd stay here again however but would go elsewhere for breakfast.

The room was very, supportive and friendly staff. Check in was very smooth. Nice bar for a drink. The environment was easy to find. Parking was pricy though. But there was a cheaper parking just few minutes walk away

This hotel was excellent! Ideally situated for the M and S Arena, the Albert Dock and Liverpool 1 shopping area. It is literally 15 mins walk from Lime Street Station. Check in was done online and key was ready to collect via a machine in the foyer. I'm not 100% keen on this as I do like the personal contact with the reception. Had to go there to ask for breakfast details so in future would probably just check in there anyhow, but the option is there if you prefer that. The room on the 4th floor was really nice, clean and comfortable. Slight grumbles were regarding the bed being a bid hard and the small shelf, rather than a table in front of the mirror. Breakfasts were excellent, a very wide range of good quality choices. The lounge and dining areas were very clean, modern and well designed. All staff were very pleasant. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. It was excellent value in comparison to others we have visited in the city in the past. Will definitely be back! TTamumy wife and I had a very enjoyable weekend break at Ropewalks. the hotel was centrally located, which suited us as we were away without kids and wanted to make the most of that. breakfast was your standard fare, but there was a chef cooking to order. the service staff at breakfast were excellent. would recommend for a boozy city break. thr hotel is neat to a lot of late bars and night clubs which was noisy and may be an issue for some travelers.

TTamuReally lovely hotel , beautiful big rooms with a comfy bed , all you need with a fridge, hairdryer and even robes. Breakfast was cold so I would not recommend that but hotel is great and shops and fast food venues 5 minutes walk away.

TTamuWhen we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC.
I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did.
Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there.
I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this
