Chongming Island National Geopark

I knew about Chongming Island because of the movie 'Cry Me a Sad River', but I never thought that after going there, I found out that Chongming Island is so big! I drove around for two full days to cover every corner, 📷 sharing the shooting spots with everyone: · 1⃣️Ding Dam I didn't know until I went to Chongming Island that there are several Ding Dams, which are quite far apart. I will share them all, and those on the way can go and see: ✔️Huhu Road Ding Dam It used to be a very niche spot. After the tide recedes, it is the best place for children to catch the sea. 📍Navigation: Ding Dam ✔️Fort Town Port The most popular check-in Ding Dam, a large area of green reeds wrapped around is very healing. 📍Navigation: Fort Town Wharf ✔️Xi Jia Port This is the closest spot to the Yangtze River Bridge. 📍Navigation: Chongming Maritime Supervision Wharf ✔️Xianghua Town Fishery Village The same small white tower as Hengsha Island. 📍Navigation: Xianghua Town Fishery Village ✔️Yingnan Village A niche embankment, a large embankment and a wide view. 📍Navigation: Yingnan Tenth Team 💰Ticket: All the above Ding Dams are free 2⃣️Xisha Pearl Lake Scenic Area There are a lot of Metasequoia here. When the leaves turn yellow, walking on the wooden ecological trail is very romantic. There is also a 📍No Top Art Museum nearby, you can go and see. Ticket🎫: Free 3⃣️Dongtan Wetland Park The natural oxygen bar where the water and sky are one color. Nearby is the Chongming Dongtan Bird National Nature Reserve, where you can take photos with migratory birds under the blue sky and reeds. Ticket🎫: 50-70 yuan 4⃣️South Gate Scenic Levee The red and white lighthouse by the sea, few people are very photogenic. Navigation to "No. 1, Lane 11, Aoshan Road, Chengqiao Town, Chongming District, Shanghai" can directly reach the lighthouse location. Ticket🎫: Free 5⃣️Sci-fi Forest Elf Island There are some art installations, the most interesting is the doll head, but overall it looks a bit dilapidated, you can go and see if you are on the way. However, the places I visited on the second day were not as worthwhile, so today I'm writing a guide on must-visit and avoid places for your reference! 💡💥 1⃣🌄Ding Dam🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We chose Liulangang Fisherman's Village, didn't go to the one in Baozhen, afraid of the crowd. Followed the guide and came here. Highly recommend visiting at sunset, it's super beautiful! 😍🌅 2⃣Yeshan Garden Hotel🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I even wrote a post specifically for this hotel! You can enjoy the beauty of the Japanese courtyard without leaving the hotel, and the service is also super good, really recommend it! 🏡🌸👌 3⃣Ice Cream Doll🌟 We went to the Sci-fi Forest Elf Island and found the Ice Cream Doll. This place is a bit off the beaten track, and besides the Ice Cream Doll, there's not much else. And the Ice Cream Doll looks quite cute online, but it's a bit creepy in reality. Originally went there to take pictures of the wind turbines, but ended up seeing the wind turbines but couldn't find a good photo spot. This check-in was not very successful. 😕🍦🌳 4⃣Sea Rose Hot Spring🌟🌟🌟 We came to the Sea Rose Hot Spring in Qianwei Village, Shuxin Town, Weijiu Road with great expectations. There were very few people, it felt like we had booked the whole place. Unfortunately, only a few outdoor hot springs were open, and they were mainly cold springs, with some leaves floating on top. The price was okay, the service was also okay, but I don't think I will go again. 😐🌊🌹 5⃣Mom's Workshop🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This restaurant is really delicious! Every dish we ordered was highly praised, no disappointments at all. And they also gave us Chongming cake, and the boss even gave us extra Chongming eggs! Chongming Island National Geological Park This is my first time to Chongming Island, it's really far away, it took 3 hours to get there, but overall it's worth it. I went to Mingzhu Lake Park with my colleagues to watch the wild geese fly, and watched the sunset at Chongxi Shuijian. I strolled around Xisha Wetland and even made rice cakes by hand. It was a great experience

This is my Nth time camping on Chongming Island, and each time I'm here, I get to enjoy a variety of activities. Water sports in summer are the best! Kayaking and paddleboarding are the perfect match for camping! When playing in the water, it's recommended to wear soft, snug, and quick-drying sportswear for endless fun~ Cycling is so convenient with a mountain bike available at the campsite! No matter how large the area, shuttling back and forth is not a problem, and you can also enjoy cycling with friends around the area, which is super cool~ The 'durable' pants I wore today are extremely resistant to wear, so I'm not afraid of friction while cycling~ Flying kites: The wind on the island today is super strong, facing the headwind, the feeling of running and bouncing in the Da Chongming Island National Geopark is so stress-relieving~ DIY afternoon tea: A cup of homemade watermelon Yakult sparkling water is simply my happy antidote!
