别府塔位于别府靠近海边的地方。从JR站出来后往海边方向走路大概15分钟就可以到。塔建于1957年，高90米，在日本也算是文物了。当然高度这些无法和国内的这些高塔相比较。不过从塔上可以看到别府全景，远处的温泉区也感觉近在眼前。
