A few kilometers north of Ubud is the Neka Museum of Art, a large private gallery featuring works by some of Bali's great 20th century painters and other contemporary Indonesian artists. You can easily spend a few hours here. The building is also beautifully done, with a cafe and a shop selling some high quality crafts and cheap souvenirs. It is worth a visit if you are interested in art. Tribute to the founders and artists who helped build such an important collection of works. I was the only one in the whole gallery. I loved walking in the gorgeous cool room with live versions of traditional Bali music coming from the courtyard. I was honoured to stop and think about art in this beautiful building. This is the only museum I have visited in Ubud.

When I arrived at the Neckar Museum, it was past the opening time and I could not enter the museum. The building of the museum was very Southeast Asian architectural style. Although I could not see the exhibition, the surrounding sea view was also very beautiful.
The Neckar Museum covers a small area, and the exhibits inside are not rare authentic products, but the quality is still very high, all local characteristics of sketch works, and abstract art forms.
an extensive art collection, including paintings, sculpture, crafts, and textile art. This collection includes works by renowned artists such as Raden Saleh, Affandi, Walter Spies, Arie Smit, and many more
Known as the "Cultural Art Village", it is the painting center of Bali. The quiet pastoral scenery, mountains, terraces, river valleys, moving legends and stories, exude a strong artistic temperament of painting. Visitors can enjoy or buy traditional Bali-style paintings at the "Nika" gallery. There are a large collection of Indonesian painters and foreign painters living in Bali all year round, which is very fascinating.
Tickets 75,000. The environment is good. Bali art is generally the same as the whole, but there are still some interesting things to see here, especially ancient times. Contemporary is a bit lackluster, and I see it very quickly. I wanted to take a taxi back, but it’s good to take a walk if it’s not hot. There are many small shops along the way, and the closer you are to the city center, the more tourists you will get. Generally speaking, it is worth going.
In fact, I decided to go here instead of going to another famous AMRA because there is a roast pork rib rice that is known to be delicious at the door. It is said that it is still sold in the afternoon. It is not available. The food is on the upper body. I got up early in the morning and went straight here. It was a little far from the monkey forest road. The taxi price 50.000 drove us over, about 15 minutes drive, NEEKA needs to buy tickets, but also because it is relatively remote, there are very few people, the number of people visiting the entire museum is no more than 10 people, very quiet, suitable for slowly enjoying, NEEKA is mainly the exhibition of various art works, With the most paintings, many paintings are painted in colorful colors, and the level is quite good~NEKA is the builder of the museum, as well as his statues and introductions (English is not enough to pass silently), there are several exhibition areas, with the tickets to give the topographic map of the exhibition area, After walking around, there are cafes and merchandise sales outside
