Texas Capitol

the Texas Capitol was truly a very memorable experience! I’m glad I was able to visit it and it’s absolutely free. there are also schedules for guided tours which are fee.

Texas Capitol Plaza Texas Capitol Hill on a hillside in downtown Austin, the Capitol looks like the U.S. Capitol, but the color is light coffee. Around the Houses of Parliament there are many monuments and sculptures to commemorate the major historical events in Texas, the world wars and civil wars that Texas participated in, and some historical buildings, and the Governor’s Mansion is also nearby.

The Texas Capitol Building, located in Austin, Texas, was built in 1885 and covers an area of 51 acres. It was designed by architects like the Washington Capitol and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. In 1986 it was named a national historical landmark. The center of the rotunda in the center of the building has a large stamp surrounded by six countries. Portraits of the presidents of the republic and the governors of Texas hang on each floor of the four-story ring hall, open to the public.

Beautiful and grand state building that really stands out in the heart of the city. The building itself is a nice of almost red, which makes it all the more unique.
