4 days 3 nights Washington road trip. This hotel bit outdated and okay cleanliness because I found a piece nail in the room. But the service, location and food was perfect. So some good but some bad.

The Wenatchee Red Lion was an excellent budget choice. While a bit old, everything worked and the staff was very helpful and polite. The trains were a bit noisy at night, as ther train tracks are right behind the hotel. The pool and hot tub were both open and fairly well maintained. Breakfast was a decent buffet.

SStephen_SLocation is convenient for South Tacoma. Public areas and rooms clean. Not that it is a located in commercial urban area with theft, I saw a van window was broke in to and tools were stolen. If you stay anywhere, park away from the fence in well lighted area and do not leave any valuable in your vehicles. ***** and theft are problem all over many states, so must protect yourself.

TTamuWe arrived early after long drive and they usually charge $50 for early check-in, but the receptionist was super nice and let us in. Breakfast is good! They even have the waffle machine onsite! I like their sausage gravy too!

No lift, must carry luggage up stairs to the room (2 bedroom penth house), level 1 is king size bed with table and chair with ensuite toilet, upstairs is queen size bed with ensuite toilet. Room is big with kitchen,electric hob, pot, bowl, plate, fork, spoon, knife, chopping board, pepper, salt, dish wash detergent, A lot of hanger for clothes, got iron board and iron, washing clothes is usd 3 per wash for 30mins and dryer is usd 3 per dry for 60 mins. Can Request for basket to put Washed clothes on dry clothes in basket, get it from reception. Everyday got breakfast, good variety, fruit juice, milk, coffee, chocolate milk, normal milk, yogurt, takeaway nicely packed burger jimmy Dean burger), pancake, has brown, scrambled egg, hard boiled egg, meat patty, black bean, vegetable (corn, carrot, green bean, long bean), got garnish and miso soup, quaker oat with different flavours. Got free sauces like tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, peanut butter, maple syrup, Nutella, grape and strawberry sauce. Juices available are apple, cranberry, orange juice. There is free plain bread for you to toast your bread in toaster. Car parking is free. Bath room with body wash, hair shampoo and hair conditioner. They will give floor mat, big bath towel, hair towel, basin towel. There is hair dryer (don't bring ur own hair dryer like Dyson supersonic if urs is singapore three pin plug coz voltage different cannot use in USA). There is 3 TV in total, one at living room, 1 in level 1 room another TV in level 2 room. There is fridge with freezer in the kitchen. I love my stay at residence inn!!

TTamuThe hotel staff are friendly, but not helpful. The washing machine was not working after I paid and put in the clothes and detergent, then I called the front, then they told me the washing machine is not working. I asked them why didn’t they put out a notice, the front desk said he just found out when I call. At the beginning he asked me to wait till the next morning, then they can call the washing machine company to try to give me a refund. Anyways, they are not sure about if I get refund or not!!! At the end, going back and forth, the front desk agree to refund me in cash and give some detergent to go to another floor for the laundry.
I arrive Seattle late around 11pm in the evening with the car. I paid for the daily fee for parking. As I will be leaving Seattle only few hours after checking out, they told me I could not leave the car in the garage until late afternoon because they need the space. I said I paid for a ‘daily fee’, so in principle I should be able to park the car till late afternoon, but they told me not, it is my choice to check in late and they cannot do anything to extend my parking till late afternoon.
I asked them if that is the regulation, they should put that down clearly in the description and inform the guests in advance, particularly those international guests who might have another interpretation about the ‘daily fee’.
At the end, they allow me to park until 2 pm which is too early for me and I need to change my plan at Seattle completely due to the parking issue.
In conclusion, the general attitude is they are sorry if the guest has any problem, but they can’t help much!!!!!

TTamuWe stayed 4days @Executive hotel coming from Vancouver. We checked in Aug.14th with Israel who was so nice, friendly & helpful. We chose this hotel as our booked tours listed this also as pick up point. The hotel is conveniently located downtown near Seattle Public Library. Eateries are nearby & walking distance to St. James Catholic Church. We had a good size, comfortable room with street view. Housekeepers were great & made sure we had what we needed. Great experience in this hotel. Highly recommend!

TTamuThe staff is great. Super friendly and accommodating. Checking was a breeze on Thursday afternoon. The hotel itself has a very nice small front lobby/breakfast area. This is the only area that appears to be updated and kept super clean. We had stayed here years ago and I think things have slowly degraded since our last visit.
Our first night we stayed in a standard queen room. The main hallways and rooms are really starting to show their age. They are superficially clean but when you look a little closer the stains and blems start to show. Bed was incredibly hard almost like sleeping on a box spring. After a bad night trying to sleep in this room we asked for another room and upgraded to a king suite. The suite rooms are much larger in size with a separate bedroom and pullout couch. Same issues though, the couch had stains that we could not even begin to identify and probably would have lit up as a rainbow under some black light. Had to throw a sheet over the couch just to be able to sit on it. The cabinets holding the microwave seemed to be bending under the strain and we didn't dare touch them as it looked like they were going to fall right off the wall.
The location is a little tricky the first time you try and locate the place, its tucked back off of a side road by the freeway. Overall this is a mid range hotel with decent pricing. Would love to see some updates done before we go back to it.

PPengguna AnonimThere were other cheaper hotels I could have chosen but this one had free breakfast on Christmas morning so that was what got my attention.
When I arrived at my room, it was very cold. The fan was set for AC. And on Christmas Eve, we didn't need cold air.
This was the first domino that made a series of unfortunate events:
I tried to set the fan to heat but it looks like it is set only for AC or fan (blowing cold air). We were just too tired to call the front desk to request a different room. My girlfriend then took a shower with super hot water. She didn't turn on the fan in the bathroom or close the door as she wanted our room to heat up. The vapor got soooooo thick in the room that it set off the fire alarm.
I jumped on the bed looking for the reset button but I cut my finger in the process. There was no silence or reset button.
I called the office right away when the alarm turned off and explained the situation.
I feel sorry for the few guests that stayed that night.
The hotel is in excellent condition, one of the best maintained in Yakima.
I just wanted to add that we people do goofy things and what we did was goofy. I know we would not have set the alarm off if the air fan could be arranged from AC to hot air given that it is December and we don't need AC in the room, just a thought.
