Hotel 3-Star di Northeastern Region, Iceland

stayed for two nights to experience the Myvatn deeply even though in winter season. Myvatn doesnt have supermarket but a convinence store connected to gas station, opening time is until 18:00-19:00pm, this hotel is quite convenient to it. Restaurant option are not many also in Myvatn. Apart from this hotel area located right near many tourist attraction, many hotels were also located near Myvatn Vistor Center area, around 15mins by drive, but even less options there (plus no convinence store, expect from the hotel).

It's close to a supermarket and uses L'OCCITANE for supplies. The afternoon tea (5200 kronor per person) in the attached restaurant is delicious, and the hot cocoa (900 kronor) is delicious. I was lucky enough to see the Aurora right in front of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is basically within a 10-minute drive from the geothermal, volcano, and Mihu hot springs. Breakfast is a little simple. It is a pity that there are no crepes. The reception staff is very good. There is a large free parking lot, which is also free. Sauna (3rd floor of hotel) with elevator.

Disadvantages The room is too small, almost no 28-inch box can be opened, and the smell of hot water in the bath is bigger than other places. 1. The front desk and breakfast are close to their dairy factory. The living environment of the cows inside is very clean and the staff take good care of them. 2. Great location by the Lake Myvate, clean, spacious room with beautiful view of the lake and the craters. Great breakfast selection too, love the waffle making self-service station. Highly recommended hotel in the area.

Unexpectedly good. The kitchen is very convenient and the tableware and kitchenware are readily available. The bathroom and shower are separated, each with 4 toilets and showers, and there is no queue.

Compared with an Icelandic hotel chain, the mattress is not as good as this one. The hotel is just behind the church, near the whale watching boat, it is very convenient to walk over by boat. The whole town husavik is very filmed, the clouds and sea and mountains are stacked together, this town is very beautiful, it is worth staying for one night.

According to the apartment, this would be sent two days in advance. Since we had not booked two days in advance - impossible. So now checked in by phone, everything ok. On to the first real point of criticism. When opening the room door, a strong smell hits you, which tries to cover the bathroom smell - long airing with a wide open window creates some relief. When checking the bed, one finds reddish, brownish stains on the bed cover - very unattractive. We were accommodated in room 25. The location is unfortunately unfavorable. The room gets the full street noises. Now to our biggest point of criticism: from about 00:30am until after 02:00am, an Asian tour group turned night into day! The hotel cannot be held responsible for human stupidity and antisocial behavior such as door slamming, loud talking and laughing in the corridors. Such behavior can unfortunately happen anytime and anywhere, but an entrance door that slams into the lock so loudly every single time that everyone in the hotel must hear it and you are always startled out of your sleep is simply unacceptable. Last but not least, the tour group had finished their party - thank goodness, and you thought peace would turn in, the small refrigerator inside the room started up. Humming loudly, it wouldn't let you fall asleep for another perceived eternity. All in all, this was unfortunately the worst and most nerve-wracking accommodation of our 15-day Iceland tour so far. We can not recommend this apartment, nor would we come back again.

The owner is an elder, kind and courteous. The nearest supermarket is a 15-minute walk away. Akreli Church is a 3-minute walk away. Next to it is a suspected masonic building. The furnishings and furniture of the public spaces of the homestay are exquisite. The bathroom is slow to dehydrate, the floor is slightly worse, and the shower water will be a bit sulfury. Very simple hotel, shared kitchen is very good, communicate with others is that others will give food, I used some of my very poor quality tomato spaghetti in exchange for other people's beef, very grateful

The location is between Mihu and Husavic. There is a petrol station and supermarket nearby. (That supermarket is the highest price of the supermarket I have ever experienced). In addition to the location, I am very satisfied. I also saw the aurora at night.

The kitchen and bathroom are shared and slightly inconvenient. The kitchen has shared kitchen utensils and cutlery. The cooktop is small and can only be cooked for one time. The breakfast at the hotel is very good for several varieties. Compared to other parts of Iceland, the price of this hotel is high (scenic price), but the accommodation service provided is too general (farm level). In addition, there are many black flying insects in the area around Mihu in summer, and the face is rushing to the body. It feels very bad. Now I think of goose bumps. Summer travel is not recommended to live near Mihu, which is very expensive. Not comfortable.
