Lokasinya luar biasa... hanya berjalan kaki singkat ke Surfers Paradise dan Skypoint tepat di sebelahnya. Mudah diakses dari bandara karena halte trem berada tepat di sebelah Skypoint. Banyak pilihan kafe dan restoran. Kami tidak menggunakan kolam renang atau pusat kebugaran. Suara bising terdengar dari kamar karena dindingnya tipis. Proses check-in mudah... staf tidak banyak memberi tahu tentang fasilitas resor dan kami menemukan kata sandi WiFi berdasarkan stiker di dinding dapur. Balkon kamar kami menghadap ke kolam renang, yang sangat bagus.

Biayanya sekitar A$26 dengan taksi dari bandara. Itu sedikit lebih mahal di malam hari. Tidak ada taksi, jadi Anda dapat meminta staf hotel untuk memanggilkan taksi untuk Anda. Ruangan itu relatif besar dan bersih. Ada masalah dengan tekanan air di kamar mandi yang lemah dan kamar mandi tidak berhenti membuat kesalahan, tetapi mereka berhasil memperbaikinya. Checking system is shocking had to ring to obtain code for the Hotel and then for the room. The first codes given didn't work had to phone again for another lot of codes. There is no free phone for this service. All at the clients expense. Not a good checkin system at all. There were many other people experiencing that same problem GET IT SORTED

Lokasi yang bagus, dekat dengan lembah yang ramai - Rumah bangsawan berada di daerah yang tenang - harus datang lebih awal untuk mendapatkan tempat parkir di properti atau beruntung jika mendapatkan tempat parkir gratis di jalan pada akhir pekan. Satu-satunya masalah kenyamanan adalah AC-nya terlalu berisik untuk tidur.

I really like this hotel very clean very nice the hospitality is very good I really like it and they are so welcome welcome us the staff are very good they are very polite with us and very general I really love the room it was very good and big

I had a great stay at Gilligan’s! The room was spacious and clean, and I was even lucky enough to have the whole dorm to myself one night. I still managed to meet plenty of people, despite being a solo traveller, thanks to the social atmosphere and nightlife. It’s worth noting that the bar/club area didn’t really get busy until late in the evening (11:30pm onwards), and the hostel is pretty deserted during the day thanks to everyone being out on tours/experiences. My room was overlooking the pool/bar area, so did get noisy at night, but the hostel offers free earplugs at reception which did the trick. It was great to have an en-suite in the room, and the bathroom was in good condition. The location is ideal, right within the hub of Cairns City, however I didn’t feel particularly safe as a solo female traveller in the area at night, so it’s definitely important to be aware of that/travel in a group where possible. The on-site travel agency is helpful and approachable, and staying at the hostel means that you can get discounted drinks at the bar and free club entry before 11pm. I didn’t end up going to any of the weekday themed nights, but at the weekend the vibes downstairs were good. I would definitely recommend Gilligan’s to any young solo/group travellers who want to meet new people and experience Cairns’ party scene at a budget-friendly price!

We booked our accommodation at Hola as it was a short drive from the birthday party celebration at a local Brewery we attended. We were pleasantly surprised by this bouquet-style accommodation(only 15 rooms). Every room is slightly different with different art from a local artist hanging in the room. A local potter has made one-of-a-kind coffee and tea cups. All of the content in the bar fridge is locally sourced (bottles are recycled) everything is about sustainability- furniture from recycled timber, a water tank, solar-sourced power, private, tranquil, and the most amazingly comfortable bed (we both sleep very well) The bathroom products are beautiful: organic botanicals designed to elevate your mood that is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and refillable. Across the road is a park, Thai restaurant, and local markets (Wed & Fri.) We only stayed one night but we would definitely go back for a longer stay next time so that we could enjoy the gardens and private lawn area (picnic/ read a book/ chillout). We have already recommended Hola to family and friends. Eumundi is a 20-minute drive to Noosa (north) or (South) to Mooloolaba. Super clean and very new/modern. The welcome bag containing lollies and chocolates was a nice gesture The only very, very small thing for me, was there was no shower cap (I have long hair), I think because shower caps are plastic it goes against their suitability Philosophy. I did have a hairband to use, so really that is my only negative thing.

I’d give a solid 9.5/10 to this hostel. Everything is great, staff is amazing - very friendly and welcoming, everyday there is an event and they are always nice, location is perfect - walking distance to all major points in the city and very close to public transports (both greyhound busses stop and train station for the airport). Guests are great too and this is a very social hostel - but fortunately not a party one. Perfect to make new friends but also to get some good sleep in a quiet place. Toilets in the rooms are a bit old and the cleanliness is not excellent but still good. Highly recommended if you want to spend some good time in Brisbane in great social hostel.

Whilst everything was fairly reasonable, the food was overpriced rubbish. It was more akin to the local greasy Joe's and $35 bucks for 2 small sized peices of Snapper and 2 bucks worth of Salad did not impress at all. Staff were friendly and helpful, but they prices were outrageous for the standard. Which was overcooked and very disappointing. You might get away with it from unsuspecting overseas visitors, but I'm sorry to say it was crap. I guess when you have zero competition you better cop it or never book there again. If i was an international tourist I would not think anything food related was more than mediocre at best. The room rate was fair priced, however dining was nothing short of highway robbery. I accept the distance to deliver supply's definitely added to the pricing, it fell way short of ones expectations of a resort level quality. $35 bucks for a meal that resembled Bain Marie cheap pub grub did not by any means cut the mustard. It will be one and only time we ever stay there. Feeling ripped off, does not inspire retention or return guests. Cheap 3 star venue that costs the equivalent of much more, renders this tired resort 3 stars at best. Most visitors to any of these types of places have expectations of a higher standard. Get the food right and pricing becomes a non issue. Daniel Thomas
