It is very quiet, but it is not far from the night market and attractions. The breakfast may not be self-service because it is off-season, but it is freshly made and tastes very good. Then when I heard that we wanted to go to Mogao Grottoes, I told her that she could help us take our luggage back to the hotel and send us to Mogao Grottoes on the way. This is very humane~ Master Liang who came to pick us up was also very good. He told us about the food in Dunhuang and took the initiative to contact us. The business car arranged by the hotel to pick us up was very comfortable. We came out late and there was no urging. If you don’t arrange a chartered car in advance, you can also find Master Liang. I also asked this by the way~ Dunhuang in the off-season is really more cost-effective than in the peak season

Checked in on New Year's Eve. Two wind towels were given as a gift when I checked in. I took a photo of it specially because it was my favorite color, hehe. Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell. Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away. Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good. Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm. To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request. It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!

Family outing, it feels great, highly recommended! Environment: The environment is amazing, and the sleep is very comfortable. Due to the season, the temperature is a bit low, but there is a central air conditioner, it is recommended to bring thick clothes when you come! The environment is good, and the quiet birdsong can be heard clearly! Service: The girl at the front desk was very enthusiastic, gave directions, and even upgraded the room type for free (good luck) Hygiene: Hygienic and clean, the room is very beautiful. Facilities: The facilities are complete and the parking is very convenient. For a villa-style hotel, parking is available under each building, which is very convenient! The yard is huge! Recommend this hotel!

Highly recommended to everyone. We traveled to Dun Huang in early May (2024), and we feel grateful for all the kindness we got here. The hotel is very clean, and the service is super accommodating. They provide free pick-up from airport (or train station), so all you need is to call them one day ahead (the receptionist can speak English if you don't speak Chinese). Everyone will smile at you and ask what they can help you when we stay there. The location is brilliant too. It is like 1000 meters away from Ming Sha mountain, and you can actually see the sand mountain when you have breakfast at the hotel (it is free too). We will definitely stay here again when we visit Dun Huang next time.

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

This hotel accepts foreigners. Location is not far from Dunhuang night market. Reception is nice and welcoming although they did not speak english. Translation app will do just fine. 100rmb deposit at check-in and they will give you back at check-out if everything is fine. Room is small, quite old and basic. Smoking is allowed inside hotel floors so it felt really suffocationg. The faucet in the bathroom did not give hot water, only the shower did. The only thing I don’t like is the AC (also heater) emitted kind of a burning smell which made the room suffocated. I turned on for a while and turned off in order to sleep safely.

We arrived in Dunhuang at night, and the pick-up service arranged by the hotel was very heartwarming. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mingsha Mountain in the distance outside the window. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making you feel like spring breeze. The hotel breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a large viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful Dunhuang. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel also provides yogurt, mineral water and seasonal fruits. The hotel's service details are very attentive. The Dunhuang landmark Rebounding Pipa is right in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient for eating and transportation. You can take the No. 3 bus at the door directly to Mingsha Mountain, and there are direct buses to the Mogao Grottoes. I had a comfortable stay and had a lot of fun during my trip to Dunhuang. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

When we arrived at 930pm there was loud construction next door and didn't stop till after 1230am both on the first night and 3rd night. Very loud and difficult to sleep. Room was ok but bed was very hard like sleeping on wood. Breakfast was Chinese breakfast and just mediocre. Hotel advertised a gym , spa and sauna. Gym was 2 small machines stuck in the corner of the 2nd floor out in the open. I could not find the spa or sauna so I asked the front desk and was told ”no have”. I discovered later the next night the spa is outside of the hotel and not affiliated with the hotel. Won't stay here again

The free pickup shuttle is from another company to sell trips to tourist areas. The show and the 5-location trip to the west of silk road areas were good. They lied a bit about the availability of taxis though.

The hotel's breakfast is quite good, with many varieties and good taste. The hotel is in a good location, and it only costs more than ten yuan to take a taxi to Mingsha Mountain. You can walk or take the bus to Shazhou Night Market.
