Lovely nite stay at the Royal Highland Hotel room was lovely very spacious with a kitchenette included. Had a great nites sleep staff very friendly and helpful who also stored our cases for us prior to checking in which was great.

Lots to love but room for a few improvements. The biggest is the doors on the rooms. They are heavy wooden doors and slam really loud. As you can imagine that’s quite annoying when people go in and out waking people up Bathroom door rotten at bottom from damp, needs replaced, looks awful. Cleaning under sinks and taps in bathrooms, the things you see when you sit in the bath!! Painting of the room could be a bit tidier, white paint all over grey radiator pipes. Cleaners could be a bit more gentler when hoovering, they batter the radiator pipes in the rooms and it vibrates to the room your in , next door! Out of stock of some flavours for cocktails, young staff seen with mobile phones very casually. Move out of sight, the customer / service are important Food is expensive for the quality you get too

Just a quick overnight stop. Hotel prices in Inverness have become silly. HIE had a good room available at a fair price. With a good breakfast - cooked and continental - included, you can't really go wrong. Friendly check in, everything you need in the room. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Location is very convenient if you arrive to Inverness by plane late night. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Hotel is great and the stay was comfortable. It's quite convenient to walk to the bus station as well at the train station. The room is clean however the toilet shower doesn't has a door and the water slashes out causing whole toilet to become wet after shower. The hotel do provide bottled water in room and has a restaurant on the ground floor. The staffs are friendly and overall stay experience was amazing.

It is said that the hotel location is good, Huang Jing is also good, suitable for business travel and home travel, hotel booking can not only look at negative reviews, look at recent reviews, it seems that this hotel is good old and new, you can consider

A small town in the middle of the nc500, at 7:30 in the evening, many restaurants are closed. The hotel is like a guest house, it is quite old, there is a parking lot, the town seems to be this hotel, the rest are BB. Breakfast is a standard English breakfast, which is quite good compared to more than 600 prices.

The dinner in the scenic restaurant under the sunset was very enjoyable, and the room was comfortable and clean, which is worth recommending. The attractions on Sky Island are relatively scattered, and hiking will be more enjoyable than getting off the car to check in. It is recommended to stay for one night and play for two days.

Do NOT accept a room facing union street ie main entrance. There are nightclubs and fast food places. The noise until 0300 is unbelievable. Especially friday and saturday. Go riverside ONLY

We went all the way north to Inverness. This small town was very quiet at night. When we arrived at 9 o'clock, there were no pedestrians on the main road. The hotel is quite nice, like a small castle, the internal hygiene is very good, the rooms are large, the facilities are a bit old, and there is no USB plug-in excuse, but it doesn't matter if you bring your own adapter. The hotel bar has a great atmosphere and the bartender is a handsome guy who can speak some Chinese hahaha ^_^

Evening event dinner was at best poor. Starter which should have been hot was cold, main course just warm, the desert had run out by the time our table was served.  The hotel toilets were in need of an attendant checking regularly .  We ended up laughing about it with references to faulty towers.  However our room was beautiful, clean, well presented, the bed was very comfortable.  We had a great night sleep.  At breckfast the arm of my chair was loose and lifted up when I would go to move my chair in/out from the table.  When I was looking around the continental breckfast counter I could hear a male member of the kitchen staff shouting and swearing using the F word, not at all what I expected from any Hotel.  Lasting impression I would not rush back.

Hotel location is very good, directly opposite is the main attractions castle, Loch Ness flows through the hotel entrance, walk around, pleasant scenery, breakfast, rooms are large, health is good, clean, there is a Michelin restaurant next to the hotel , But book in advance

Really great Hotel. Cheapest around as well so don’t really get when people book cheap hotels and complain that it’s not 5* 😂. Location is amazing. The Loch is beautiful. Staff are really nice. Rooms have everything you need and are quite spacious. Food is really good although a wee bit expensive but still good sized portions.

It was late when we arrived. The landlord had been waiting for us. There was a hand sanitizer prepared at the door. The host was very enthusiastic. He introduced us to the surrounding environment and told us where to eat. The room is on the second floor, you can see the sea by opening the window, the scenery is very beautiful

I was worried when I read the reviews at first, but other places are either far away or super expensive. The cold and hot water device of the washbasin is a traditional separate type, which is the kind of water that you either use cold water or hot water, and it cannot be warm water anyway. The sofa in the guest room is made of fabric. The disadvantage is that you can't see whether it has lice or whether it is clean. Anyway, it is so old that people don't want to sit on it at all. The environment is beautiful, located by the lake, the service is first-class, the hotel is very cost-effective, the Scottish sister-in-law in the restaurant can tell jokes, the cooking skills are first-class, pure Scottish cuisine, and the main dish is recommended for the main dish, Scotch lamb shank.

In the very center of Portree on Sky Island, next to the coop, it feels like a hotel converted from an old bar. Amazing location and lovely room. The view of the bay is outstanding and one of the best sun sets I've seen in a long time. Breakfast was perfect although the volume of the death metal music coming out of the kitchen was a bit much at 8am. But would definitely stay again!
