This newly opened hotel is perfectly located near Gurney Bay, and it truly impressed us! The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the facilities are top-notchâideal for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Each morning, they offer a convenient grab-and-go breakfast, and thereâs even an automated car park right on-site for hassle-free parking. Craving Starbucks? Youâll find it at the lobbyâavailable for purchase, of course âď¸
What stood out most was the friendly and attentive service. The staff even gave us a courtesy call just to check if everything was going well during our stay, such a thoughtful touch!
Whether youâre traveling with family, as a couple, or for business, this hotel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
The hotel is modern and very pretty! Love the decoration and design. Itâs clean, the bed is comfortable (not the pillow) and I love the shower water pressure and the idea of having water dispenser for sustainability drive.
A few things that disappointed a little:
1. Was assigned to room 212 which is located close to lift, I barely slept on the first night. One group of guests walked pass ard 12:50am and were talking and laughing so loudly, followed by the loud door closing sound (no soft closing). Then another group came back around 1:45am and I woke up because of the loud door opening and closing sound (3 times)âŚthe aircon was centralised and quite cold, tried adjusting to higher temperature with lower volume but the control parcel is useless. The pillow was not comfortable also, the cotton was not even, too high for my liking. Morning 8:45am the house keeping person tried accessing the store room and entered the wrong PIN code for a few times and the beeping sound was non stop and I woke up again :(
2. Thankfully we were changed to another room at level 3, I managed to sleep better for the 2nd and 3rd night. But when we came back on Day 3, I wanted to watch TV but the remote control was missing. We called the front desk for a few times but no answer around 11pm, had to go down and request for the remote control to be delivered to my room. Guess what, we waited for 15 mins but no one came, called again and finally the house keeping staff showed up after 5 mins. Then when we opened the door, he asked us multiple times that why itâs missing and even requested us to check drawers etc. we searched everywhere before we called, only being accused after waiting for 20 mins. Then waited another 5 mins for him to get a new one and came back. So speechlessâŚ
3. I like the free coffee service that they offer, however thereâs no food options and no room service. Most of the nearby shops close early and itâs quite hard to find for food at night if you are hungry
4. Not all the staffs are very friendly, the lady receptionist that we encountered was not super friendly and helpful. She told me that when we came down, the replacement room would be ready but itâs not, I waited for another 5 mins standing there until she got everything sorted out. Felt that she was unwilling to help
They made it extra special since I was there during my birthday so it was a business trip with pleasure. It was so nice of them to go extra mile.
They even allowed me to extend or late check out appreciate really their considerationÂ

Itâs our first time staying here with 9yo child. We were given Block B room. Felt welcome by all staffs, always greet us with smile. Clear & helpful communication. Love the free coffee & simple snack service at the comfortable lobby. Swimming pool is acceptable at block B, could be better if there is someone to watch over as there were some tourist allow their child to go naked in the pool(not sure they pee inside or not). Love the free clean water dispenser service available near the lift. Although Breakfast could be better (omelette doesnât taste nice), there are some dirty stains in certain parts of the toilet, overall our stay was comfortable & satisfied. Location wise is also consider convenient to many walking distance places, thereâs a tourist map available for free at the reception, very helpful & thoughtful. Definitely will consider staying here again in future.
Satisfying stay, good security, magnificent Penang bridge view from the balcony and window of the master bed room⌠but morning Muslim prayer from the nearby mosque may wake one up very early.  Room service is top notch, more efficient than a 5 star international hotel.  Nice comfortable resort feel lounge with a hot and cold drinking water dispenser, lounge is also equipped with 2 pool tables, a gym, table tennis table and bats, badminton/basketball court, a swimming pool and a small waterfall koi pond.  Snacks and breakfast are sold at a cost.
We loved this house very much! Rarely find this kind of BNB actually especially during last minute booking.
It was a great option especially for family with kids.
What we loved about this house:
1) Great setup of bedrooms with playground and variety of toys.
2) Got 4 queen beds and comfortable pillows. Cozy bedrooms.
3) Equipped with electrical items (hairdryer, iron + iron board, microwave, kettle, fridge, cooking pans, plates, utensils, etc.)
4) Huge tv projector and cozy sofa.
5) Bathrooms with toothbrush sets, tissues.
6) Very nice view especially at night.
7) Convenient parking, very helpful and attentive staff & security.
8) Easy check in and early check out.
9) Housekeeping is available upon request.
10) Food servings option is also available.
Some improvement suggestions:
1) Bathroom needs to be thoroughly cleaned (toilet bowl, corner of the wall).
2) Limited lifts per floor. Only 3 lifts for 41 floors. But still manageable to get lift on time.
3) May be better if can install wall fan in the bedrooms (to dry out the damp floor).
4) Also, much better if the unit has a washing machine option.
Overall, we were very happy with the stay. Once in a lifetime for having great BNB like this. Very recommended!
I communicated with the boss via WeChat, but he was not very enthusiastic. He didn't respond to my inquiries about local issues. There was only one local boy working as a waiter in the B&B. When I asked if I could use the washing machine, he said it would cost 40 RM per time. A deposit of RM 80 was required to enter the store, which was quite inconvenient. In short, the service was lacking and it was just average.
If it is during the Spring Festival peak season, due to the arrival of a large number of Chinese, you can understand that your price has risen to about 800, but my stay time is during the ************** after the Spring Festival. This kind of non-descript Republic of China style homestay also dared to sell for 800 with tax. It's a bit unreasonable, because after being misled by the comment area and the price of almost 800 a night was set for two nights, I resolutely moved to the hotel, and honestly, no matter from service, location, hardware, environment, breakfast (there is only one breakfast) Order by one person, very simple for 3 years old children are not free), up to 400

GGuest UserAlthough the photos and reality were different, the window-less rooms were still adequate for comfortable staying. We stayed for 3 nights in a level 4 deluxe double room and level 3 double room, all ensuite with bathrooms. Due to the lack of exhaust fans and windows, the internal bathrooms can cause dampness and a smell but that was ok for us. A pet friendly Guesthouse (many of our neighbours had dogs but they were very quiet and well managed). Now managed by 3 service staffs who do everything. A retro but working games machine at the ground floor was a delight for my kids. Free laundry & dryer and a simple fitness corner are useful amenities. The highlight is actually the location of this guesthouse - within walking distance, there are numerous dim sum outlets, night time street foods, noodles shop, bakery and a sports bar just across the road. Will stay again, anytime, for my next visit.
