I stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and I thought the experience as a whole was alright, gets the job done if that’s all you need. There were some things I thought were a bit strange however. The shower was the main thing, it was stuck on full power which was crazy fast. It also didn’t stay in place because it was so powerful and kept turning into the wall. When I had pointed it facing out, it would point to the window (which was in the shower) and begin to fill up the window sill. Additionally, the sliding door had broken and it was replaced with a flimsy shower curtain which Barry managed to cover the gap. The room was a little dark but other than that was fine. The bed was fine too. Dinner is room service or you can have it in the bar area if you’d like. There isn’t a restaurant however and the bar area isn’t incredibly suitable for a meal with a family, fine on my own though. The menu consisted of pub food and each item was between £11-15 for the majority. There is a pizza and alcohol deal for £15 which is what I had, which was fine. Breakfast was £11.75 I think and was a buffet in one of the service rooms and was pretty good. Overall I think my experience was pretty poor but the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite

We booked this hotel so we could use the steam room and hot tub however both were out of order for 3 days which was the duration of our stay. The food in the hotel - the service was appauling I waited 1.5 hours for a vegan beef wellington to then be brought a caulifour risotto which I didnt order and was given the excuse that the chef didnt have enough time / it would take too long to make a vegan wellingotn- even though it was a sunday roast meal and they knew I didnt eat meat 4 hours before the meal and I was told originally I would have to wait 10 minutes for my wellington after queing up at the cavery- so all I had to eat were sides. The room was great- and hotel immaculate

Breakfast should have been served until 10 am. We got into the restaurant 9.15 and there was hardly anything left, One spoonful of scrambled egg which I had to gather from around the pan for my husband - none for me, no bacon, no sausage, no hash brown or tomato. They did have beans!! Having asked and waited, we got a bit of bacon and some sausages that were so hard we could hardly cut them!! Then , at 10am they asked us to leave the room because they had to get it ready for something else. Our bedroom was ok but there was a skylight in the roof and the sun came flooding in just after 4 am so I didn’t sleep. Waste of time having black out curtains at the window when you don’t cover the skylight. The teaspoons on the dressing table had not been washed. The shower was nice but the water came out all over the floor - our friends had the same in their room. All in all not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay there again. I did mention all of this to the reception guy but he just smiled at me. Not sure if he spoke English!

It’s clear that attention to detail has been prioritized. One of the standout highlights was the spa. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was tranquil—perfect for unwinding. The pool area was spotless, and the treatments were first-class, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Dining at the hotel was also a fantastic experience. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served with a smile. It’s evident that the team takes great pride in the quality of their service. Overall, I’m delighted to say that Voco Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa has more than redeemed itself in my eyes. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch service. Can’t wait to return!

We were visiting locally as my son is a chef and was working in the area. This was a really lovely location and a beautiful hotel, staff were very helpful and check-in was easy. We would recommend.

Picked this hotel as it is very close to Gatwick North Terminal, only 2 minute walk away. I checked in and was first assigned a room, I walk in and it had not been cleaned at all, towels on the floor, bed not made and bottles opened on the table. I went back to reception and they were very nice and apologetic, they kindly told me that they have upgraded my room and apologised for the inconvenience. The new room which I was assigned looked very much like the room I had paid for, not sure what the upgrade was, but at least it was clean this time. In terms of the price, it’s very expensive but what the hotel lacks in cleanliness, it makes up for in location. I’ll probably save my money next time and stay at the Premier Inn across the road.

This was my second time staying at the property. It’s a very convenient place to stay as it’s joined onto the Gatwick North Terminal. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious, however, the floorboards do need replacing as they’re starting to creak. The breakfast is nice which offers a good selection of food including fresh pastries, tea/coffee and a fry-up. However, on the day I stayed, they only had vegan sausages with no other option of pork sausages. I questioned the management why this was, but gave me a very lame excuse of why they didn’t have any. This was the only downside throughout my stay however. Will stay again.

As normal excellent service. Such a friendly but professional attitude from all staff, with a great breakfast included in price. Rooms clean with all facilities you would want on a business trip. Still no restaurant for evening meal but they do offer pizza’s, and there is an excellent restaurant across road.

Beautiful & clean facilities, nice strong hot shower over bath. Comfortable bed with various pillows to choose from & extra towels in the wardrobe. Enough lighting from lamps around the room & good view of the carpark to check on our vehicle. Located 20 mins from North Terminal Gatwick via shuttle bus (£4 each) runs every 15 mins. Full English cooked breakfast available with black pudding as well as pastries, continental options too. Front desk (Danny) was super helpful & answered all our questions for an early start to catch our flight. Car was safe in their carpark for 4 days (£20 per day) & easy to get back to via the shuttle bus. Would definitely stay here again.
