Air wasn't working in one room, and it took most of the night to switch rooms. There was an event during which a physical domestic dispute took place. My kids, 18 to 23, witnessed the bloody mess. We booked 4 rooms for my husband and me and my 4 adult children; hotel seemed frustrated that my children had their own rooms. They're grown. The hotel was getting paid for 4 rooms, plus they had my card for incidentals. I don't see the problem.
But... the location was walkable to the sights. It was a decent hotel. The price was great for the quality.

Read Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. The lobby is classic and our Manor room was well appointed. We encountered two problems though. The front desk clerk was very short with us at checkin and seemed annoyed to answer our questions about valet parking. But, most importantly, our room was so very noisy at night. The walls are paper thin and we heard every conversation in the neighboring room. Also, the doors in our hallway closed with a loud bang every time a guest closed their door. It was one of the worst nights of sleep we have ever encountered in a hotel. At checkout the clerk did not greet us except to ask if we wanted our receipt printed or emailed. No “How was your stay?” was asked. We chose not to complain to her at checkout as she didn’t seemed concerned about us as guests.

TTamuThe workers were friendly for the most part and the facility was not bad. My boyfriend And I stayed reserved a room for three nights. I guess since we were staying three nights, housekeeping wasn’t supposed to clean our room, which was fine. We didn’t mind, but I went down And asked a staff member for fresh towels, and sheets. As I was changing the sheets, I spotted a huge bedbug!! So I got to looking In the Mattress found three Iive bedbugs. I killed them myself and showed them to the lady at the desk. Obviously, I got really freaked out and could not sleep for the rest of the night. I finally gave up trying to sleep and just checked out at 5am. I would’ve left early than that, but I did not want to be out in that part of Nashville so early in the morning so I waited Until daylight before I left. The staff member did not offer to give me a new room or refund my money. She said she Let her boss know. She Didn’t even try to apologize on behalf of the Hotel. I’m very disappointed in the way The employee handle the situation. As disgusting as bedbugs are, I would’ve understood if she Would have even acted as if she cared. All she said was that it was probably because they Had had an exterminator out there Earlier in the week And it was probably just leftover from the exterminator spraying and stirring things around. I’m going to Call and speak to the manager Monday to Make sure he’s aware of the situation and let him know that his Employee did not handle the situation properly. Honestly, I feel like I should be refunded for the last night. The only reason I stay there is because I could not leave in the middle of the night and also because I did not want to pay for a room at different hotel room when I had already paid for that one. Times are hard and My husband and I were just visiting family. We could not afford to throw money around And go to a different hotel room.

TTamuSo I of course read google reviews about this place before hand and was torn ... ultimately deciding on it because I kept going back to it on google ...upon checking in after I online booked it...I was greeted by a young woman behind the desk who was cheerful eager to help and informative. Even thou it was nearly 10pm. After 10 minutes the room phone rang it was the front desk and the same young woman who checked me in ..asking about my pit bull saying the lady next door called said my dog was trying to attack her car thru the window...this flat out didn't happen however my dog and her car were playing and my dog isn't a pit bull she's an American Bully but I get it ...I assured the front desk my dot wouldn't be by the neighbors window again and apologized for her having to call me ...fyi y'all ever known a dog to try and attack a cat thru a window without barking growling or acting a damn fool??? Cuz mine sure didn't do any of that ...ANYWAY...The room I booked had 2 queens and lemme tell ya the beds were unbelievably comfortable as were the pillows. The aesthetics of the room was chill and relaxing TV worked as it should so did the AC ...but on to the best part the lady tending to the contentinal breakfast...which was fully stocked at all times and not just stocked but perfectly lined pastries breads and cereal bowls. On my particular morning which was a Friday they served sausage links biscuits eggs blueberry or plain pancakes. They had fresh apple or orange juice but it was the attendant who made it amazing not just her detail but her pleasant disposition to everyone was fantastic. I would return just to tip her again !!! This was a treat experience and one I'll never regret

LLoreeann32Everyone was so nice. The employees treated you very nicely. I checked in and went to my room. I found out my door did not close all the way. I would close it, but it would not latch. I went downstairs, and the mantainence man was right there, and he went up with me to fix it. Everything was clean, even the bedding. The bathroom was clean, but when I was getting ready for bed, I saw an ant on the counter in the bathroom. I did not think anything of it and killed it and went to sleep. The next morning, I was getting ready in the bathroom, and I found 2-3 ants on the counter. I killed them, but I was gone all day. I stayed a total of 2 nights. When I came back for the night, I went to bed. The next morning, I took a shower. The water pressure was not good. The hot water and the shower were awesome but could use more pressure. Once again, getting ready for the day and this time, there were ants all over. They were going up the walls on the ceiling. I am not sure if something was spilled on the walls, but it looked like they all were going towards one spot. That's what led me to believe that. So I moved all my things and got ready in the foyer where there was a mirror. I was leaving that morning anyway, so I figured I would tell the staff. So I checked out and told the front desk, she just said ok.” I thought she would take it seriously, but she did not. I stayed in room 411. Very nice room. Just check for ants. The breakfast was free for both days. I was told the owner was giving free vouchers for breakfast. I thought that was awesome. Overall, good stay.

TTamu'Superfirstly', this La Quintas has the most amazing staff; above and beyond assistance, friendly, welcoming, kind and I mean EVERY staff member we encountered from desk to behind the scenes who we passed in the elevator, arriving at work, EVERYONE!!! deep appreciation to staff members, Diamond who literally 'concierged' us in, and was in charge of our floor and, Kumani who lent us an umbrella, Tracy who was so kind when he came to attend to the TV that was in fact working, the Check in staff on the afternoon of the 27th July who gave great advice and the staff member who brought us additional toiletries we required. (edit) one super comfortable pillow out of the 3 on each bed and a firm, comfortable mattress - perfect for us.
Firstly, it was practically, fantastically 10 minutes' walk into Downtown via the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge for sights over the Cumberland River of Downtown and the Nissan Stadium. It's been modernised compared to La Quintas elsewhere, but do not order the Onion Rings at the bar (horrid)! the 'dry rubbed wings' were great! Otherwise, the bar and seating/lounge area is welcoming, but I never tried the breakfast.
The car park was easily accessible and one of the best prices in the area. All in all, our experience at La Quintas in Nashville, Stadium contributed positively to our overall fantastic short stay and hopefully, building works (no noise) across the way will be complete when we stay again in the future.

Bad outweighs the good = pool does not feel heated at all, the jets on the hot tub do not work, one jet only makes a few bubbles, when pointed it out, we were told that’s how it should be. Stayed 3 nights, every day we went out, came back and key card wouldn’t work, had to get a new one. The toilet was clogged and would not flush. Maintenance came and said it was fixed, he smelled like alcohol. Went to bathroom in the middle of night and it would not flush, was afraid it’d overflow. Called in the am, was told we could just use the bathrooms near the desk 😳. Said maintenance would come after 7. We left at 8, but when we came back it was fixed. The breakfast is awful and the same every day. Watery eggs, burnt sausage, a casserole, little potatoes, biscuits, cereals, bagels, a little refrigerator with a gallon of milk, pitchers of juice, cream cheese, and butter. No oatmeal, yogurt, bacon would’ve been nice. The coffee maker in the lobby poured out grounds, told us it was broken, my husband told her, try cleaning it out and get all the grounds out - then it worked later when he went back. Hard to find a parking place when you come back at night, because of restaurant & bar. Only 2 handicap spaces near entrance to rooms. Outside garbage overflowing (but it was bagged). Some of the staff were very rude. *The manager was nice and did come to our room to check on us.
