What a fantastic hotel/apt studio right in the heart of Wellington CBD. For the price and amenities, it really can't be beaten. I'd paid more previously at TRYP, but this Quest location is far better. 👍 Although the room is the same size, it has far more amenities w a kitchenette, eating area, washer/dryer and toiletries. Right outside it's easy to find eateries and you're in walking distance of the cable car, the museum, shopping and sundries.
Can't recommend this place enough if you want bang for your buck, and you don't plan on being in the room long. Great for layovers.
P.s.- they have limited reception hours, so if you're arriving after 7pm or require assistance, this place might not be for you. Very self-service.

Always thoroughly enjoy my stay here. Very convenient, a step away from central Courtenay Place. Parking is convenient and easily accessed. Rooms are fully equipped with kitchenette that has its own dishwasher/cooktop/fridge etc. super comfy bed and nice little balcony. Really nice open plan bathroom/wet room and lighting is great for dolling up! It’s the PERFECT spot for a night out on the town. Always will be booking here for when I am needing to spend my night in Central Wellington for events. Christian H at the counter is a very nice and welcoming work colleague.

刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.

AAvenJWI recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The location is excellent—right near the town center, which made it very convenient for dining and shopping. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel was quiet and comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a busy day.
The hotel itself was very clean and well looked after, with all the facilities you’d expect for a comfortable stay.

The lift & room was just a little bit older around the edges, but still very good! The bed was heavenly-soft & lovely, we just wish we'd had time to rest & relax more than one night in Wellington!

GGuest UserWe have always enjoyed staying at QT Museum Hotel. We were given the option to upgrade to a Seaview room on the top floor with an additional charge. Seeing it is a more quiet room compared to my booking request on the 1st floor near road traffic and rubbish bin area, I paid the extra for the upgrade per night for 2 nights.
Our room was not serviced well the following day. Rubbish bin in the bathroom being the only one was not emptied. The Bath and Shower gel was not replenished, we had to asked for it to be refilled. the cushions on the bed was still on the floor from the night before, the ironing board was still left out - I did not put it back as the iron was still very hot after ironing my dress for my conference that morning. The gym facilities was very tired with all towels being used and the used towels bin was overflowing.
I was very disappointed with my stay this trip, using shortage of staff since Covid is a very old excuse now. Systems and procedures should be in placed by management to ensure the 5 star ratings is upheld. No point upselling or selling more rooms if they cannot keep customers happy to come back again. This was not only my opinion but that of my colleagues. very disappointing!

GGuest UserFirst of all, the entrance is a staircase, so it is difficult to drag a suitcase.
There was a Korean staff member at the desk, and he was very friendly.
There is an elevator, but it is old, so I only used it to move luggage.
I was on the 1st floor, so I felt like I was on the 2nd floor.
There is a musty smell coming from the hallway.
The desk in the room wasn't cleaned and there was food on it.
The worst part was I never wanted to go to the bathroom again.
There are two restaurants, but the one with a kitchen that we can use is the backpacker's kitchen, located past the desk.
It's a little dirty here too
You have to eat at another restaurant.
The overall review is that the staff is friendly and the service is good, but it is very dirty.

Because we don't have a car and don't want to take the bus, it is very convenient to choose here. I can walk to any attraction. The boss is very warm and kind. He said, ”He and the Chinese have worked together for ten years, just like a family.” What moved the words, he is very kind and friendly to the Chinese, and he gives it daily. We have prepared a free breakfast, we have to stay here for ten days, my daughter likes it very much, safe and hygienic. The kitchen in the restaurant can also be used free of charge. You can buy food and cook for yourself. It is a good place to take your children to travel. When I first came to check in, we took out the documents and showed them to the boss. He said cheerfully, ”No need to look, I know who you are,”. I think he may be a Chinese character with the Chinese for a long time.
