The hotel is easily accessible from Toyama Station's South Exit. Walk to the main intersection, turn right, and it's just a short walk across the street. This is a perfectly adequate business hotel: the rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The breakfast selection, however, might start to feel a bit limited if you're staying for three consecutive days. For lunch and dinner, you'll find plenty of options at Toyama Station. Conveniently, there's also a shopping mall directly across from the hotel where you can dine and shop. A definite highlight: one afternoon, I walked to the City Hall Observation Deck and enjoyed a beautiful sunset 🌇!
The hotel is conveniently located very close to the station, ensuring easy access to transportation. It's considerably more spacious than typical Japanese hotels, boasting well-appointed and practical facilities. The service quality is excellent. The comfort and pleasantness are on par with what I've experienced in Toyama, making it ideal for a relaxing vacation.
Fantastic! I'm a big fan of this hotel brand, and it's always my go-to choice for stays in Japan. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms feature excellent wet/dry separation, are very well-lit, and feel incredibly clean and comfortable. From the room, you can even see distant snow-capped mountains. It's just a 2-minute walk to Dentetsu Toyama Station. Plus, there's a renowned sushi restaurant right downstairs (the sea urchin chawanmushi had a generous amount of uni, and the crab cream croquettes were absolutely delicious).
The hotel is relatively new, with on site parking. It is located at the top few floors of a business building. There no hotel reception on the ground floor only a phone and the entrance is hard to find if you are driving and it’s at the back of the building. The window shows you the major railway system of Nagoya as JR Nagoya station is just next stop and visible from the window. So a must for train lovers.
The staff at the hotel is helpful but their English is minimal but for sure they are polite and cordial. There’s always staff cleaning in the other room when I go in and out of the hotel, but they somehow managed to not bother me and find the right time to clean my room.
There is no other facility such as swimming pool, onsen or washing machines in the hotel. There’s a large family mart on ground floor and a few restaurants in the complex but we are always out during the day and didn’t have a choice to enjoy them.
The hotel breakfast is delicious and the choices are ample. It also has the skyline view of Nagoya.
Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want a little piece and quiet when you travel. And you might need to walk extra or take 1 more stop in the Metro to go back to hotel.
It’s an excellent hotel but I think more suitable for adults.
Small but very clean room, very easy access to public parking. Onsen bath is good considered the small size of hotel. Free noodle and ice popsicles are a plus - especially when you struggle to find a restaurant coming back late from Tateyama. Charge money for disposing excessive trash and room markup
The room I booked should be the largest room with the best view in the hotel. It is indeed very comfortable and the buffet is very rich. However, there are many people and you need to go according to the scheduled time when checking in. Fortunately, I went later than the scheduled time. There were too many people queuing up when I went early. Because I didn't make an appointment for breakfast, I had to queue up on site, which took longer. I didn't expect so many people to travel in the off-season. I guess it's because the cost-effectiveness is high. The buffet is worth half of the room price.
A well managed hotel.
Location is strategically located across the road from Toyama JR station and Toyama Dentetsu station.
Efficient check in/ out process. Staff were attentive and professional.
I would like to commend in the front desk ladies for being very helpful and patient with me on arranging TQ-Bin to send my luggage over to Toyoko Inn at Nagano.
The room was clean and spacious. Great range and supply of amenities. Though there wasn’t a waiting lounge and breakfast area was relatively smaller than other Toyoko-inn, breakfast quality and range were good enough to satisfy the stomach before embarking on Kurobe Alpine Route trip.
The hotel is super close to the JR station; you can spot it right as you exit. It's situated on the fifth floor of a shopping mall. To access the guest room floors, you need your key card, which provides a good sense of privacy. The hotel also offers a communal bath and a complimentary coffee lounge. Our room was very spacious, and facing the JR station side, we had a lovely view of Mount Tateyama – a real plus! The overall location is fantastic, making it incredibly convenient for exploring both nearby areas and city attractions. The airport shuttle stop is also right next to the hotel. Definitely highly recommended!
The hotel is a bit old, but the room is very clean, breakfast and dinner are included, so you don't have to worry about food, accommodation and hot springs. It is a 20-minute drive from the Funakawa Kasuga Quartet. It's perfect to get up early to take pictures, come back to have breakfast, rest for a while, and then check out leisurely.

First, the rooms are clean, big, surrounded by nature, greenery, and a beautiful lake that you can observe for a perfect morning scenery. Secondly, the facilities are top notch! Everything is clean! All facilities are provided to you with great quality; clean floors, perfect white clean towels, the hot spring water is clean, the pools are clean, the shampoo and body wash liquids smell amazing! (Like the baby colon your mother would give you as a child with the blue rounded top!) AMAZING! However, I had a very special interaction with one of the staff who deserves a medal for being so responsible and ensuring that her guest was in good hands.
Unfortunately, I got sick one morning while I was checking out. I was having an anxiety / panic attack that made me really disoriented. I didn't feel safe driving afterwards and I requested for the ambulance to be called. The kind and beautiful lady at the front desk handled all my paperwork, and ensured clear communication between doctors and nurses. After getting a physical check at the hospital for 2 hours, the results came back fine. There was no problem at all, however, the lady from the hotel staff was still there to see me out and ensure that I was safe and ok to drive. She was amazing! Thank you a million times for providing a fantastic place to stay, but also for taking great care of me!
( I don't have any pictures of the hotel because pictures aren't allowed to be taken within the hot springs, but trust me when I say, everything looks just as it is in the pictures. ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!
(Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)
GGuest UserThe service was excellent, and the location was very convenient for getting around. However, I did find two drawbacks. Firstly, the parking isn't located directly on-site; you have to drive a short distance to it, and the parking fee was quite expensive. Secondly, the twin room felt a bit small.
CChee KinThe hotel is just 2 mins walk from Toyama station. Across it is a shopping mall. Very convenient!
Hotel has free bike to rent, easy to cycle around the place. Hotel breakfast is really good, an infusion of japanese with other cultures. And most affordable.
Room amenities are basic but sufficient.
The only thing I don't like is the bed. Gives me backache. There is only one thin pillow.
Otherwise all good.

TTianzeAwesome hotel, I didn’t see a high rating when I booked Ctrip. I have been hesitating to make a reservation. However, the B&B in Baichuan Township is a wooden house structure that is too old. I chose this hotel. The hot springs are superb and the rooms are clean and looks like It didn't take long for the decoration, everything was very new, and I will definitely visit again in Shirakawa Township next time.
MMay HoniThe hotel is a 10-15min walk from Toyama Station. Close to a conbini is a plus. Stayed only for a short period because went to Shirakawa-go early in the morning.
