The disadvantage is that the hotel rooms are on the fourth and fifth floors, which is very inconvenient if you bring large luggage, and although the first and second floors are non-smoking, there is still a very obvious smell of smoke as soon as you enter. If you don’t smoke, I strongly recommend that you wear a mask. The surrounding Chinatown is a tourist area, so the prices are very expensive, but there are two supermarkets as soon as you come out of the subway station. Their half-price expiring products starting around 8 pm are very cost-effective, and the hotel can also cook by yourself.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are on tatami. I like the authentic Japanese style. My kids and I like it the most because it has its own natural hot spring. The Japanese-style hot spring has separate male and female pools, which is very down-to-earth. When you are tired after walking for a day, you can go directly to the hot springs. The pure natural hot spring water does not need to be heated. It flows directly into the pool from the mountain. Remember to be early. It ends at 9 pm, but you can continue to soak at 7 am. It was just released in the morning. The water is extremely hot. Remember to bring water when you go to the hot springs, or bring money to buy it at the vending machine. My kids and I liked this hotel very much. We stayed one night and soaked in hot springs twice. If we come to Hakone again next time, we will book this hotel to stay for two more days.
